There’s going to have to be some real coping mechanisms in place by the people refusing to criticise our board over these transfer dealings. It’s awful and it’s turning the club into a laughing stock.

Pay the fucking money a club wants for their player at this point.

We’ve got a couple of weeks to sign maybe two strikers, arguably a centre mid and definitely a cb.

I partly agree with some points, but that means you end up like Man Utd and overpaying for players.

I guess it depends on the gap between what they want and what we offer, but if that gap is a chasm we shouldn't pay it.

Unfortunately for us, we haven't got the finances to just write off bad buys like the septic six can.

If it was me, I'd start ploughing money into getting PSR removed. And even then, that would only be a fraction of what players cost.

Perfectly fine walking away if £30m isn't enough to get a 29 year old.

Too bad it took so many days before we realised they weren’t gonna sell him for cheap.

Wtf are we doing man, just damaging the clubs reputation at this point. It's pathetic.

Explain this please ? We won't pay Brentford £50m, quite right too. How does that damage our reputation that we won't overpay for Wissa ?

Added (if true) that Wissa was told by Brentford he could move for £26m.

Our preparation for this window has been inconceivably bad.

It's failed to meet my already rock-bottom expectations, like. Quite an achievement

10 days since the thread was created and player clearly wanted the move. I'm not complaining about this effort. :dontknow:
