Look, I was here for all of that. From a supporters perspective since the window opened it's been mostly disappointment. I'm not negative on the team overall. I wish they would fill jobs when they become vacant at faster than a glacial pace. I also am disappointed that it appears that our star striker seems to want out. We also tried and failed on strengthening the position so yea, seems rather disappointing. I'm not down on the team or overreacting. It's disappointing.

I think we should judge when the window closes, I get it mate, I honestly do. I just wanna look forward to the new season and not at the "maybes" that's all.

If we hear a report that Isak won’t play for us again and only wants Liverpool then half the board would be on suicide watch and the assumption is we’d cave at £120m.

But the opposite scenario and we’re incompetent mugs who are wasting our time.

That's called 'a breach of contract'. We could take him to court if that were the case. I'm confident that he'll be professional enough to play through the pain of Champions League football at a top notch Geordie club for one more season. Oh the misery.

Agree, unless we land no one and Isak tells us to fuck off, I am absolutely hopeful of great success this year. I fully remember all the glory from last year, although bottling it against Everton to end the season was slightly papered over but hey ho, UCL and Eddie at the helm.

Yep. Not a fan of that. Even when in our benefit. Call me naive but just sends out the wrong signals.

I'm not a fan of it either, but Gordon did it and that didn't turn out too bad (circumstances have to be considered).

Nee dickheads policy oot the window.

He had a gentleman's agreement with them though so kind of get it. He's 29 and 50mil is ridiculous value essentially stopping any move when only has 4 or 5 years left of career

I got some cheese coleslaw from Lidl last night as a desperate attempt to add something unusual to my sandwich and my tea. That gets my anger. Was like camel jizz.

I was going to ask you about your authority on camels but I think I'll leave that one, have a thought, I'm currently testing out keto and everything I'm allowed to eat tastes like thousand year old wine corks.

It's not very professional but I think you might afford him a bit of grace if Brentford are fucking him about.

It's the same with Isak mind and get it that Isak will want to win big trophies consistently and we need to show that ambition to keep players

Could be slightly different. Apparently it was Staveley that promised Isak the new contract (she's not there now), if whoever promised Wissa whatever is still there then his grouse is a bit more legit.

It is quite different. Isak gets to showcase his talents at all levels next season. Wissa will play for Brentford who have just lost an exceptional manager and their best player. I still don't think Isak personally wants out despite the noise. He might think he is underpaid, which he is.

Newcastle telling Brentford we’re looking elsewhere to make them wobble and let Wizza go for less. Sure we wouldn’t tolerate any underhanded tactics being used on us 😁 I’m looking at you Liverpool.

We clearly learned from the best tbf.

Spending a fortune on Jackson after Chelsea get Palmer and Pedro ahead of us would just about sum this window up like.

I'd be absolutely fuming if we got Jackson for an extortionate fee.

It’s either Wissa signing new improved contract or signing for us. Can’t see other option (unless Chelsea offer £80m and sign him for their reserves top striker for £300k per week)

Either way next week we will know.
