Geordie Magpie
We have potential to have a big man small man two up top, Wolte can play as a 10 and this opens us up to being able to adapt and change tactically.

I'd be apoplectic. It's definitely taking the edge off. Probably still going for a blackout on any English football content outside our games for a while so I don't have to see Isak's face. Geordie Magpie
Brentford have done a cracking deal here. 25% sell on fee, they clearly well aware we will probably try to sell to Saudi in a few years to recoup a lot of the fee back

Skeletor
I guess we can expect this to be officially announced on Friday then. Can't possibly announce it without some video package about how great Newcastle is. Although from Wissa it might actually be a genuine sentiment. Jackson - who never showed any desire to join NUFC. Apposed to a player who was desperate to join us, and could be scoring goals for the next three, maybe four seasons..... Roids
Actually shocking transfer, he was my #1 target prior to Isak's bs but £55 for a 29 yo who's off to AfCon is so shortsighted. Looking forward to seeing him go, depth is looking decent as well
ponsaelius
Look it's a ridiculous overpay but we're coming out of a very difficult situation with a proven PL goalscorer and one of the most promising strikers in Europe. Considering the hand we've been dealt it could be a lot worse.
Kid Icarus
Yeah, for all that the price, age, and availability aren't great, I can't grumble at all at the player quality himself tbh. Think I said it earlier, but if he'd taken and converted the pens that Mbeumo took last season, his total would have been 26 - one less than Isak. So it could fuck our European financial situation? Also, if we buy for £55m and sell for £30m two years later, what is the book loss / profit from our own PSR regulations? I believe for UEFA, we'd only receive his book value. So, if we sell him in 3 years, assuming he's on a 5 year contract, UEFA would only allow us to record £22m. So, not bad really. Ilovetoon8788
What a signing. Cracking window to be honest. Shifting the snake and getting Wissa and Voldemort is terrific business. One of our best window in a long time.

buzza
Well done! At last we have two pretty good strikers Who between them Will Get over 20 goals. Will allow the Isak exit to summer without too much damage. If we got another midfielder It would be a great Windows. 130 million incoming on the two strikers doesn't seem to bad with a pinch of salt
