Brentford have done a cracking deal here. 25% sell on fee, they clearly well aware we will probably try to sell to Saudi in a few years to recoup a lot of the fee back

Actually shocking transfer, he was my #1 target prior to Isak's bs but £55 for a 29 yo who's off to AfCon is so shortsighted.

Look it's a ridiculous overpay but we're coming out of a very difficult situation with a proven PL goalscorer and one of the most promising strikers in Europe. Considering the hand we've been dealt it could be a lot worse.

Yeah, for all that the price, age, and availability aren't great, I can't grumble at all at the player quality himself tbh. Think I said it earlier, but if he'd taken and converted the pens that Mbeumo took last season, his total would have been 26 - one less than Isak.

I believe for UEFA, we'd only receive his book value. So, if we sell him in 3 years, assuming he's on a 5 year contract, UEFA would only allow us to record £22m. So, not bad really.

Sell on depends on whether it’s on any profit or just flat sale price. At this point, as long as he’s productive for the next couple of years, I’d take it. Idiots can’t be choosers.

At last we have two pretty good strikers Who between them Will Get over 20 goals. Will allow the Isak exit to summer without too much damage.

If we got another midfielder It would be a great Windows.
