Is it only me that feels extremely transactional towards him due to his antics at Brentford?

Going to tolerate him if he delivers the goods, and probably end up disliking him if he continues to prioritize NT over us and not hit the ground running when he is back.

Best case scenario we ship him out to Saudi in two years time for a decent fee after he's contributed to us winning another cup and qualifying us for CL, and we replace him with someone better and more likeable.

Not sure he’s prioritised Congo over us at any point yet. It was just unfortunate he got injured playing for them, predominantly due to a ropey pitch.

Going to dream of us lining up in a 4-4-2 just once to see how it goes with Wissa and Woltemade up top on possession.

I cannot see how it wouldn't be absolutely lethal with Gordon, Tonali, Bruno and Murphy/Barnes behind.

Lad that gets all the team news reckons he’s done his ACL in training today

He should have kept training with Brentford while requesting a transfer that was apparently "promised" to him. I don't condone his behaviour and he seemed pretty committed to Brentford up until this summer. Overall, I'm excited for him to play for us and the fee Brentford got for him was obviously ridiculous, but Eddie wanted him, he wanted to be here, so let's see what he can do.

I can't fault the guy for representing his country, getting that opportunity is rare for a player, just hope he doesn't get injured again while ultimately he returns and helps us have a strong season overall.

Wissa's one and only chance to potentially play CL at his age is far more justifiable after his manager left, his clear and obvious agremeent with his club to leave, and everyhing he said he after he left >>>>>> over Isak and his conduct.

Lets say he is fit, is will he play vs the Mackem's or will he be off to Afcon there?

Probably be allowed to play.

Under the rules, the AFCON teams could call all their players up before then, but going off previous seasons, they’ve left it until a week before, so that weekend’s set of fixtures will probably be the last ones before they all head off.
