As I did find it amusing and a bit sad that you went back and quoted them all I think I went full Switzerland and was neutral on it. If he started playing in november he would have probably been selected now. Some might say it was deliberate by the club, but wouldn't it be weird to tell Wissa that we're going to delay his recovery in order to avoid any chance of him going to AFCON? Peoples opinions were based on the first prognosis of him being back in november. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that anyone who predicted him to not go did it because they thought the injury would take longer to heal than what we had been told.
