Jaqen
Maybe the theory of him not really being injured but doing fitness work to have him look sharp instead can be put to bed after that cameo
TheEntertainer
I thought he ran about a bit more tonight, not to much effect like but at least he looked like he was trying a bit. He looks like he's running funny when he tries to get up to speed though, I'm worried the injury has done something permanent.

Pilko
Must be exhausted after all that fitness work to the point where he can't be arsed to run about on the pitch. Says all the right things about wanting to be here and wanting to sign for us for ages but he might as well be wearing a sandwich board saying "I'm only here for the money" so far. It doesn't work like that; the Isak sale still gives us loads of capacity. It's all amortisation n that (fuck knows). But it's not like we had money in our wallet and then straight out again on those two.
Menace
I must put my hands up and say I have no idea how this amortisation stuff works as I'm just your neutral football fan and finances bore the heck out of me, let alone in sports. But I do struggle to see how we can move some of these guys on, or even break even on them. If we signed Wissa for £55M and sell him for say £30M, we would still have to find a replacement for him even if the amortisation cost is "insert here"
Optimistic Nut
If we sold Wissa for £40m and say got £20m for Osula, that must be close to at least a "break even" in terms of this amortisation bollocks?
Smal
nobody will be daft enough to pay us more than £20m for Wissa. His value when we signed him would’ve been around £30m-£35m and it’s plummeted since then.
CallumG6
Get £25m from Saudi or Turkey and put it down to desperation at the end of the window, lessons learned.

Funtime Frankie
I don't envisage us selling him this summer as Eddie will likely want to have a pre season with him and see how he plays after a long period injury free. Also Howe wouldn't want to admit failure so another reason he stays. The only way he is sold if there is a crazy offer.

Barnes23
There is every chance he could still turn things around. Most likely it would be next season, granted - but I'm happy to defer to the judgement of Howe/the coaching staff on that. I still wonder about the extent to which the injury may have affected him. Don't see why he needs to be written off entirely from the sidelines at this moment but the signing has certainly been a failure so far. I think our early bids reportedly of ~£25m were indicative of what we thought his true market value was tbh. In the end we had to pay the money because of the circumstances, which everybody including Brentford knew. It’s fine - it was a gamble we had to make. It hasn’t paid off. Alreetworked
Christ, we're a right horrible fanbase like. The blokes still in his first season at a new club, during which he had one of his only serious injuries of his career. Writing him off and slating him to bits helps absolutely no one. Holloway
Daft to write him off this soon after a quite significant injury, just when he was needed. The utter shite patter is lifting
