We've now got the experienced/solid Prem player and the massive potential massive German in the door so I'm happy. We should score some goals. He’s 29, it’s probably his last chance of a big move or playing in the CL, by all accounts he was actually promised he could leave, his previous manager has gone, as have his better team mates, and he’s suffered an acid attack before. Clubs are happy to freeze players out when it suits them. He continued to train and at least waited until after their last game before the window shut for his Instagram meltdown.
