Ah somebody talking law to a lawyer. If it is agreed verbally it is a binding contract also as long as the individual seeks to rely on the representation

“In the UK, a handshake, or verbal agreement, can be legally binding if it meets the basic requirements of a contract: offer, acceptance, consideration, and intention to create legal relations. However, proving the terms of a verbal agreement can be difficult without written evidence. While not mandatory, written contracts offer clarity and are easier to enforce in case of a dispute”

Ask Wissa if they shook on it. If so that’s outrageous behaviour by Brentford. Bring him hyem [emoji38]

I'm dead set against any player who pulls this shit. If a player is under contract, unless he's been really badly mistreated, he needs to honour his contract, otherwise there's no point in having contracts in the first place.

It depends if he has that verbal agreement and they've gone back on it. Swings and roundhouses

Wissa situation is different to Isak, as it’s clear there was some sort of agreement on his exit that has been reneged on. Brentford have been aware of this and not had any sort of contingency in place. Isak has zero contractual leverage other than withholding his labour which would put him in breach of his agreement.

Isak was promised a new contract and didn’t get it.

Isak will report back as per the terms of his contract when the team return from tour.

Whether or not he trains with the first team is his decision. As it stands he’s not really done anything out of the ordinary in training in a destination of his choice after an injury.

Don’t get me wrong, we all really know what’s going on but he’s currently walking the tightrope. It’s not balls out of the bath time just yet for him. . . . .

Isn’t whether he trains with the team our decision? Or you mean if he refuses?

Aye should have been more clear - if he refuses mate.

As it stands I don’t think he’s had to look Howe/the owners in the eye yet to front his decision/behaviour. That could alter things as well.
