Don’t know the inside of the deal but this feels like it’s been piss taking territory for a while, especially with the way they carried on with Arsenal. Seriously hope we’ve been working on other options

It does sound like Leipzig and/or Šeško are purposely delaying this. Question is whether it’s Leipzig wanting a bidding war or Šeško wanting Man U, or both. 
 

As it stands though we’ve made two bids. We keep being threatened through cartel media that Man U are going to bid and that he’s going to choose them. So far they’ve done the square root of fuck all. 
 

I don’t think they have the resources to compete with us on this deal. They’re hoping we’re forced to move on because of Leipzig’s inaction and then they make a bid which Leipzig accept because at that point, they’d be the only players at the table.

I think that's where we are, part of some stupid game involving Sesko, his agent, Leipzig and Man Utd.  They need time so it is being stretched out as much as possible.  Leipzig are giving them time by not accepting our offer hoping Man Utd can find a way to generate money and bid.

We'll probably not hear anything until he's booked in for a medical so I wouldn't take this 'being played about' stuff too seriously. By some accounts we walked away from the Ekitike deal a lot sooner than our name was being dragged about for
