They've bid 5m under us and both bids have apparently been accepted. Sesko has also accepted both offers from the club's (apparently) so journalists are filling in the blanks that he's chose Man Utd. None of it makes any sense and there's probably a lot of shit behind closed doors we're missing

In what world do you accept an offer below a current offer? Something is off here.

Aye - I suspected there was some media play about Sesko choosing "United" like. He is, if he goes to either btw. :aww:

I don't really get the whole media narrative, it's really weird. They really must be in the pockets of the "big 6". You'd think a more competitive league would lead to better entertainment wouldn't you, more viewers, etc.

It's like a form of heroin this transfer window. We're all hooked on it, but it is tirelessly bad for us and actually just making us all worse.

Want it over with and the season starting.

Think whether I want this all hinges on whether the alternative is to do the unthinkable and still try and get Ramos or Jackson plus Wissa in if this fails, then sell Isak. If that's the case then I hope Sesko chooses us.

If the alternative is to go with saying tough luck to Isak and getting Wissa then I'm okay with him choosing Man United and I'll be pleased that our inability to close a deal has saved us from ourselves a bit.

I'm the same. Not sure whether to be pleased or not about Sesko.

Natural instinct wants to sign players + beat Man Utd but I honestly don't think he's that good, not for such a price, and I'd much rather keep Isak.

But we don't know whether Isak is going regardless, in which case this happiness would look silly.

In the PSR climate its all the more suspect.

Because he wants to go to Man Utd and they don't want to risk the £70m+ they're offering for the sake of a few extra million from us.

Then that would suggest the player has no interest what so ever in moving to us? Why have the club bothered on that case?

This is the first time I’ve been into the window for ages, the last few I just assumed so signings. This time I assumed some easy great signings

Have I missed something? A few Twitter weirdos (incl Goldbridge) seem to think Sesko to Man Utd is basically done?

Man Utd have a made a bid lower than ours but still likely to be accepted. Rumours that Sesko prefers Man Utd to us.
