Only way the above two would fall Manure’s way is if the player was lying through his teeth that he was amenable to our terms, making him a pure rat.

There is no point having this debate which club is better to go to. We all know the answer. Due to the corrupt prem financial rules, team who finished just outside the relegation zone is able to offer a player more in wages than one in the UCL.

 

This is why I've been saying we need to be so much better with recruiting and scouting players. Instead if having to constantly be in stupid bidding wars that FFP won't allow us to win.

In the last 3 years Man U have won a Carabao Cup, an FA cup and been in a European Cup final. And that's when they're at their shittest basically.

 

Last three years we've won a Carabao Cup for our most successful season in over half a century.

 

They're a better known and more prestigous club with way more money than we do. It would hardly be surprising if he picked Man U over us, lack of European football aside this year.

 

I doubt he grew up dreaming of the year both Ba and Cisse were in red hot form for half a season and we finished fifth.
