I've always hated Liverpool and Man Utd, however after this summer I totally detest them and would love to see them fail.

Man Utd are the worst supporters that I have EVER met. I am 68 years old so that tells you something.

Their fans? Or the club in general?

Both.

Like most clubs, the online presence is the worst representation of the fanbase. They've expected us to hand Isak over like it's an honour to have him play for Liverpool. They also just profess their club to be special with an undertone of 'better than' which is a bit embarrassing.

As a club, I think they're pretty obnoxious too. They're so quick to take a moral high ground, but will happily hack into Man City's scouting network and unsettle Isak.

It's the out of country glory hunters for me. Those who've just latched onto a team that was doing well, and have zero skin in the game.

Like going to the casino and cheering for the dealer. Can't take them or their opinions seriously at all.

Hope you're looking forward to hating 50% of your fanbase.

Oh absolutely.

I know we need these halfwits, but yeah I'll never take their opinions seriously.

My utter disdain is not based on them supporting other teams.

Mind, I just stumbled across a Newcastle fan from Seattle on Reddit saying we've no right to be mad at Isak

Their locals are just as bad. "You lot voted for PSR" even though it was the Ashley Newcastle. "We're able to spend money because we've built ourselves up over 50.years", is another gem of theirs.

Sorry this was about Liverpool fans but I imagine it's similar with Man Utd.

Yep, a collective of sad cases - football 'support' as a penis extension.  Their patter is lifting generally - and worth ignoring.  I don't understand how people get wound up by some daft cunt in Dublin, Delhi or Dakar giving it the big 'un about Liverpool and going on about how Isak should be released to their clutches.

My favourite sad case online football fan remains the ones who support a player - weirdos who get involved in Messi / C Ronaldo bun-fights.  Peculiar behaviour.

I wonder if I know them. Most of the ones I know are sound (expats or otherwise).
