Man Utd canteen must have been feeding their staff wagyu beef & white truffles on a daily basis before INEOS took away their free lunches. Sir Jim is on record saying they'd be broke by Christmas if they didn't cut staff costs. In the last week they've spent £65m on Mbuemo, £75m on Sesko & contemplating paying a similar amount for Baleba. I effing hate all these lying, corrupt tossers that have infected our game. Really feel for you Geordies. Despite having rich as Croesus owners, they're trying to do things the right way & so far seem to have kept their word on respecting your club history & fan culture. Compare & contrast with how Big 6 owners cheat the system & the contempt shown for 'legacy' fans & English football heritage in general.

Ironically, if United had a cohesive, long-term recruitment strategy they'd probably not have even looked at Sesko & that team would be challenging you for a top 4 slot. As it is, I'm quietly confident they'll finish below Brighton again. Their arrogance is their undoing - they're the biggest club therefore they should have only the best players. Doesn't matter if he fits the system or has right attitude.

Rat lad could personally pay off the debt himself this second. Dont anyone buy into this Man U fan balls...hes in in them to make money for himself just as much if not more than the Glazers.

Guarantee hes well in with PIF as well given that both INEOS and Sabic both happen to decide to close down plants literally next door to each other within a few weeks.

We've been weighed, we've been measured, and found up wanting.

Agree with all of that. A part of me hopes that the A22 group win their right to start a super league & the Big 6 join. We'd have less dosh and have to cut our cloth accordingly but we'd have a much more exciting league, something akin to the Championship, & the money & club sizes differential between the top 2 leagues would be a lot closer too. Don't know about you but I much preferred match day atmosphere & away day experiences in the Championship.

One thing that you can only laugh at from these biased cunts in the media is how theyve turned this whole situation into a debate about how Newcastle isn't a big club. People saying Sunderland and Leeds are bigger. Id love to know what metric they're using for that because it's not trophies, revenue and fanbase.

Rage bait. Engages click after click. Ignore it. It’s been going on for years

As a neutral, I'd put Newcastle in same bracket as Villa & Everton. And maybe West Ham. All 4 are big clubs by any metric. If you strip out all the plastics that "support" the Big 6, I reckon your fanbase is comparable size to at least 3 or 4 of those, & definitely bigger than Chelsea.

Doesn't bother me at all that Brighton is regarded as a small club, what does get my goat is when some fans say we're not a 'proper' PL club. And it's usually Leeds fans who say that & think they've a divine right to be in the PL. Well...Every season from 2012-2017 in the Championship, Brighton had a higher average attendance than Leeds. So yes, Decky - Newcastle is a bigger club than Leeds.

A lad of my acquaintance who o cannot vouch for has just said that the dippers have made a bid for Sesko.

I doubt its real at this late stage, but that was one reason I though Sesko was taking so long with his "decision" between two clubs that on paper are less attractive than Arsenal, who were interested but claim that he messed them about earlier in the window.

He was stalling for one last chance to see if anyone else might come in.

Without Christopher Vivell he doesn't go to Man U.  That is the only reason. The press will miss that part off - he took Sesko to Salzburg.
