One serious injury for Joelinton, Bruno, or Tonali and the Ramsey transfer risks out season being fucked yes.

We should have spent the 40 million on someone who at the very least has a record of being available for selection.

He played 46 games last season.

So his previous injury record is relevant to this one, is it?

From what I can tell, as long as Joelinton can last until that international break things should be fine.

The concern would be if other key midfielders get hurt, but that was always the case anyway.

It sucks, but I think the team should be able to get through this period without it being too catastrophic.

He’ll not get a proactive break and neither will the others.  Making it more likely they all get injured.

I don't disagree btw, I think it's likely something else will happen in the meantime but I was just saying if 'x' happens then things will probably turn it okay.

I do agree that if you were to run the percentages it is more likely he'll get some form of injury than not.

That’s not solely through injury though is it? He was available for plenty more than that.

I’d be surprised if he was fit enough to start a lot of those games he was a substitute. If he was though it begs the question how we think he’s worth 40 million.

Yes. Injury-prone, fragile players pick up more injuries - all sorts of injuries - than resilient ones.

Seems dubious to me. Surely you can't equate another player stamping on your ankle with being fragile/not resilient?

He’s made of glass man, if Longstaff can put you out for a month ffs.

This cunt will make Willock look like Gattuso by the end of the season.

Did you come home from work early and find Jacob Ramsey balls deep in your mam or summat ?

Perhaps, but that’s an entirely different discussion.

Folk can’t consider Willock injury prone and have rose tinted glasses here. The facts speak for themselves.
