Mole
From what I can tell, as long as Joelinton can last until that international break things should be fine. The concern would be if other key midfielders get hurt, but that was always the case anyway. It sucks, but I think the team should be able to get through this period without it being too catastrophic.

Andy
This season already feels like a rerun of two years ago. Difficult opening fixtures and CL draw, new signings unavailable to us, players dropping like flies before the fixture list has even got congested. Frustrating as fuck. You just know he'll shrivel up into his shell when that game comes around. He's had his game of the season, and even then he managed to hospitalise one of our new signings. VAR will hold him to account against the mighty reds if he even dreams of tapping their ankles.

Sibierski
I hope he comes good long term, but it was a strange signing giving his injury history and the cost.

Whitley mag
Some ill thought out and expensive business conducted by the club this summer and jury is out. Could well bite Howe on the arse this season unfortunately.
SteV
The reaction to one player getting a medium term injury from a bad/clumsy tackle is incredible.

It's all confirmation bias, lots of negativity throughout the summer and not a tonne of excitement over what the club did and more a feeling of relief it was over. So I'm not surprised the reactions are what they are, don't necessarily agree with it but I'm not shocked.

Hopefully it is just a one off, but I'm a pessimist. He’s missed 50 games in the last 3 seasons, and he’s probably going to miss 7/8 for us straight away. We should have spent the 40 million on someone who at the very least has a record of being available for selection.
