Crazy how small a sample size he has playing at a high level in top flight football, trying to get my fix but all the highlight videos are pretty much the same 😂

 

So is the consensus that this wasn't a panic buy, or someone far down our CF list....But rather he's someone we liked a lot who wasn't available until Bayern stepped away? 

 

Hope so, as our elite scouting gives me a lot of confidence 

 

Deffo seems like a ball to feet player, hope Elanga/Gordon up their end product as I could see Woltemade doing well with productive wingers

He's 6'6 and one his recent goals was a nutmeg very delicately on a defender and then he chipped the keeper.

 

Not seen many players of that size do that. If ever. He's unique if nothing else.

If you don't know anything about him then maybe it's best if you just keep quiet about him so you don't look like the idiot you clearly are? Or in hindsight maybe you could have just watched a video or two of him so you could make some assumptions at least, knowing he was heading to the league and you're likely to be asked about him. Can’t wait for the Wolves game. Hope him and Wissa have a blinder, and hopefully Ramsay is OK as I was very impressed with him at Leeds before he went off.

He could be awesome but there’s definitely a risk going he hasn’t scored loads of goals consistently. Theres always a risk though and we’ve done pretty well in identifying potential talents and bringing them in and improving them. 
 

He just looks like a unique player in terms of his height, dribbling & technical ability. Could cause defences all sorts of issues.

I can absolutely 100% back up the notion that the man is a simpleton. I was involved in a local sports club where we had him on for a sportsman’s dinner. He demanded a place on the table, meal and free drinks for his son - who also turned out to be his driver because he was on a ban. Read his shtick from a bit of paper in what was one of the most boring experiences of my life. Had reports of him constantly being in the toilet - make of that what you will. Oh and when he engaged me in conversation about Newcastle it was basically like talking to a real life uninformed opinion. Just stereotyping to the max.
