BennyBlanco
The one thing that has struck me from his interviews is how quick he seems to have settled. Already seems part of the furniture. Seems a cool character.

54
The most important thing about yesterday in my eyes is that he's already doing the knee slide celebration.

Yorkie
Could only follow the game on the radio yesterday but had a good session absorbing the content this evening. Initial reflections are that you can see why Bayern identified him as Kane's successor; he seemed to contribute really well from deeper positions, releasing himself from the very front and making cute passes, before making himself available in attacking positions. Looks like an intelligent player, and the goal was an absolute beauty. Did so well to generate the power he did; Murphy over-hit the cross tbh (not by much, it was a good ball, but it wasn't on a sixpence a la Gordon/Isak v Arsenal, and a worse striker doesn't bury that). Ginola
Rewatching the highlights his general demeanor and style gave Berbatov vibes but with better workrate. Hope he builds on that excellent debut, could become a cult hero in no time Edited September 14, 2025 by Ginola

Annoyed me when the MotD commentator's first words on Saturday night were "Alex who?", like when are we moving on lads?

His goal was great but you are right. The passes with back to goal, general hold up play ( which surprised me) and dropping deep and playing people through. Danh1
Can’t wait to see him with Gordon and Elanga on the wings and possibly even Wissa up front. Think he will contribute a fair few assists and contribute to goals without getting the G/A credit (refuse to use the term “pre-assist”)

SteV
Feels like Schar’s taking him under his wing a bit. Was chatting to him in German on one of the training vids, seemed buzzing in the celebrations following his goal, and also commenting on his SM. Bit of a change from telling Gordon he “needs to earn it” when he first walked in.

He seemed to be bringing everyone into the attack that little bit more. Early days, but he could be such a transformative signing for the whole team. 80
Even after everything, I think my favourite moment was him sprinting to battle and shelter the ball out by the corner flag after Murphy's point blank miss.
