Villa done it to perfection last season against us with Watkins and Rogers. Deffo wanting a prolific midfielder if we do this though, Gordon and Elanga aren't going to be our Salah and Mane, so hopefully Ramsey/Joelinton can contribute this season Also noticed we done a box midfield at times recently, nice to see something new from the Edward Done this in the build up quite a bit before, haven’t we? Trippier usually the man coming into the middle and to start with, looked great doing it. I think Hall has also been the man in and done well at it, as you’d expect. Tino had a go one game and didn’t look comfortable at all.
huss9
the whole Wissa situation has fucked up Eddie's plan for this lad.
The College Dropout
Who is on penalties btw? I have a feeling it should be Schar. We might persist with Gordon though. Nick W or Wissa should claim it. Easy 3-5 goals a season.

Yeah we have, but noticed Joelinton and Woltemade as the top 2 of the 4 man box midfield, don't recall Isak ever doing this, so I guess partly something new! Fak
Bayern aren't bitter at all: Bayern Munich chief, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has taken a swipe at Liverpool and Newcastle's summer business for Bundesliga stars in a bitter attack. The Reds snatched Florian Wirtz for £116million despite Bayern's interest and the German giants were also beaten to £65m Nick Woltemade by Eddie Howe's side. Rummenigge, who was formerly the CEO at Bayern and is now on their advisory board, pulled no punches in discussing both moves. 'I have to honestly say, I still feel sorry for Florian Wirtz because I think the player would be better off at Bayern Munich than at Liverpool,' the 69-year-old told Welt. 'We could have signed Woltemade,' he added. 'But I also have to say: FC Bayern would be well advised not to go along with every financial madness
Kid Icarus
The brass neck on them to whinge about having done to them what they've been doing to every German club for decades. Absolutely no surprise that they're hated.

janpawel
Missed the last 2 games but just watched the extended highlights of the Bournemouth game His hold up play is exquisite, the ball seems to stick to him and he's quality with his back towards goal. Though I know it only shows our good bits of play Hope he can become a fox in the box and also get some goals arriving in, assuming our wingers get played in off his layoffs What we lose in transition ability from losing Isak, hopefully we can improve in 1/2 more other areas of play

TRon
Weren't Bayern the only club in Europe interested in paying £100m for a 30 yr old Harry Kane? I mean he's a great striker, but that's what I would call financial madness.

On the other hand he’s got 70 goals in just over 2 years and will get at least 50 over the next 2 seasons there you’d think. Not his number one fan but that’s not madness. More than likely they would be winning everything in Germany with a 25 yr old £100m striker. They could have bought Isak for just over half that. I wish we could afford to spend £100m on a proven striker but we'd get destroyed by the FFP police.
