The Prophet
Incredible how well we've landed on our feet with him. Isak looked irreplaceable, but after a summer of rejections, we have ended up with a player with the potential to surpass him.

astraguy
looks good in the air and good in procession, but we have yet to see him go though on goal etc or really create a chance of his own.We deffo need Wissa

There’s barely attacking phases where chances are even developing much less created to be even able to do that.  I don’t think any one individual will change that, it needs to be a team wide thing. I was saying this in the match day thread at half time but it felt like the team doesn’t really attack together with any sort of cohesion atm.  But I’m sure it will come. nufc4eva
He looks like he will only get better and that we are starting to adapt to little plays using him. Some fantastic passing phases today and his awareness, fuck me phenomenal at times and makes the game look easy. Feel he may have more in his locker than Isak even if he doesn't have the pace. Needs to start falling over when being man handled though and be nasty. Â He looks a handful for all the defenders he's played against and forest couldn't cope with him, he dragged them into midfield so often.
Hanshithispantz
It's percentage stuff and we'll lose possession a lot, but I honestly think if the midfield or defence just pinged balls to his feet he would make things happen more than our wingers have been. Having 2 rapid wide men hasn't been as dangerous as it seemed on paper with how we've been playing, even against high lines. MagMal
His hold up play is fantastic, but then instead of just laying it off backwards and running into space he does a Cruyff turn, bamboozles a couple of players and plays it forward, once our wingers get used to that and run into space rather than checking their runs like the had to do with he who will not be named we will start to see the goals flow. Toney was ours, Anderson will probably be another. Their loss is our gain though with him. He’s probably one of the most unique strikers in world football - if we can fully unlock his ability we have a zlatan/berbatov hybrid on our hands. Turnbull2000
He's got big balls with that penalty technique. They probably also helps lower his centre of gravity, hence the excellent movement for a big man. Edited October 5, 2025 by Turnbull2000
