The personnel are still here, Joelinton didn’t play every game in previous seasons and it’s not as if Isak pressed much either. Yet the whole identity of the team has gone. And completely separate to all of the above is an altogether different problem that Woltemade is the exact opposite type of player that would ever fit into this sort of system. We're pressing less and less. At home against Brentford today who aren't that great with the ball, and we didn't pressure them. Woltemade is getting it played into his feet even less than when he first joined and no longer lays it off quickly like he did then either. Maybe give him a run of starts where he knows he’s going to play like he had when he was actually scoring goals earlier in the season, but there’s so many games and the games are so hard that it might do more harm than good.
