“Normally, Nick Woltemade wouldn’t want to leave Newcastle in the summer. However, we’ve all seen his socials (and, more specifically, what’s no longer on his socials),” Falk exclusively informed CF Bayern Insider.

“There is some background to this. There was an article from an English newspaper, and I think Woltemade is aware that the reporter in question is very close to Eddie Howe. It could be that perhaps the German feels the sentiment within the report is shared by his manager. I can say that, perhaps, this is true.

“This is why they could come to a new conclusion about what the next season holds for all parties involved.”

Wonder what report he's referring to. Hope's opinion piece from the other day I assume?

I thought we established that he removed a few things from his socials a while back anyway. Seems like just to focus on the weird single link he’s got there now.

Bog hopes for Nick next season. Still think he has a lot of potential.

I'm not sure why, but this gives me a sinking feeling.

The boss has told him to do something with the £125m worth of strikers he paid for who are sitting on the bench every week

Key bit:

"I thought his pass for Yoane was sublime against Arsenal. It was great to see those two link together and looked like it could be a potential partnership for us."

Ridiculous for anyone to make Nick the scape goat for this season.  Without his goals we would be knee deep in a relegation scrap.  Nick is an elite football.

What's he elite at out of interest?

Didn’t even get on today. What the hell is going on here?

That’s so depressing and I’m glad for him when he’s gone.

Is it possible there is some clause in his transfer fee which is activated after 10 league goals or something similar to that? It makes no sense he’s not playing at all.

Why would he be brought on when we were sitting deep trying to battle out a much needed and hard earned win? The team is low on confidence and understandably nervy, we we're always going to be under pressure. Putting Woltemade on, who offers no pace, hold up ability or strength would have made no sense at all.

I get everyone wants to see Woltemade play, but it's worth considering the reasons why he doesn't too.

Feel for him. The way we set up today was no place for him. I’d still want to see him start a home game behind Osula before the season ends.

Agent will be on the blower to half of Germany tonight to bring him home.

Problem is that only Bayern can pay over £40 million for player and I doubt Woltemade will be on their first choice. Only loan deal wlth buy option (similar to Jackson) is probably best we can get. Unless he has wonderful World Cup.

There is not many teams outside England that pays over 40 for player these days.
