Mind every team's supporters whinge about set piece success. It's almost there was a goal for every two corners awarded back in some mythical bygone era The rule makers are really going to have to come up with something though, there's more grappling at set pieces in Premier League football right now than there is in a rugby scrum. Dr.Spaceman
So there's zero correlation with how good you are at set penises vs your actual league position....got it.

The top 3 in that list make up 3 of the top 4. Man City and Liverpool are first and second in open play goals.

TBG
Was hoping the thread was bumped because the set piece coach had handed in his resignation but I wouldn't trust him to deliver that correctly either.
bobbydazzla
Is there a chart for how many goals a team concedes as a result of its own set piece creating a chance for the opposition ?

Counter attacks from corners is tracked. Wish I had access to the data. Liverpool was most successful last season; we were 19th in terms of turning defending a corner into a counter. I know you mean the other way though, don't have that.

oldtype
The top set piece scoring team in the league converts them at less than 10%. Most of the league converts them at 5% or less. The reality is that scoring from corners/free kicks is pretty rare and people have overinflated expectations.
BergenMagpie
Brentford must be really unlucky if they are scoring 1.9 goals pr 100 set piece (image from first post on this thread) whilst still having 4th highest set piece xG in Europe
