Infinitely Content Posted January 1 Share Posted January 1 It's those two games against Arsenal for me, to shut them out entirely over two legs with two very different note perfect performances was special. And then the final where we completely dominated and blew away the best team in the country at that time. I love that the cup win wasn't even necessarily close-run in what would be typical Newcastle fashion, we were the best team in the competition by some distance. Player wise, I love them all for what they achieved, but during the year I felt particular fondness towards Murphy, Joelinton, Schar and Bruno. Created so much space for others because of it. Need to change the way we play and not keep trying to repeat the same style with a totally different player in Woltemade.
