Having a tear down the cheek  walking down the seafront in Whitley on the Monday listening to Pod on the Tyne is an underrated highlight of this genre for me. When it finally started to sink in.

Thankfully no real men were there to kick the shit out of me for hating England.

 I remember listening to that and doing the same. Thankfully I was also using power tools at the time so it all evens out.

Had a few similar moments watching the match back in The Strawberry the night after, and just random moments like when listening to Local Hero in the car.

My lass went to pick up our daughter from school and said there was a dad in another car blasting it with his face in his hands.

Favourite Match: The Final

Favourite Goal: Dan Burn in the final

Favourite Moment: Tonali taking ages to tie his laces in the final, The Willock & Tonali Chest bump when keeping it in the corner, everything about that day.

Favourite Player: Dan Burn - living every Geordie's dream.

Any other favourite memories: Beating Man U 4-1, qualifying and being back in the champions league,  mackems rolling out the welcome mat for our fans in the FA cup, Jacob Murphy becoming a quality player. Seeing my club again for the first time in person since giving up my season ticket when Rafa left (even if we did lose, play shite and I had to sit in the wrong end)

Makems in the cup was 2024 ya dafty

Not even just 2024, it was in January 2024! I have absolutely no recollection at all of last season's FA cup

Maybe_next_year can’t remember this year but could remember last year which is now almost two years ago

Never have I viewed a compilation like this with such mixed emotions

How good is it seeing Bruno in the celebrations, he seems on the verge of tears of joy at times, bloke is a colossus.

Hope we keep Osula, was increasingly showing his capabilities before that injury. He brings something different and I want to see more of him.

Just started watching it and it the most noticeable thing in the first two months is how central Isak is to everything we did. He was so deadly in front of goal and such a big part of our DNA at the time.

Sitting back and reflecting, it just lends a lot more weight to the “transition” season argument when you take such a big component out of a system. I’ve had some doubts in the last few months but it’s only when you take the time to look back at the goals, assists and link up play of peak Isak that you appreciate what he brought to the team.

I look forward to seeing Eddie’s evolution of the team and fuck the rat cunt in his Merseyside nest.

It's those two games against Arsenal for me, to shut them out entirely over two legs with two very different note perfect performances was special. And then the final where we completely dominated and blew away the best team in the country at that time. I love that the cup win wasn't even necessarily close-run in what would be typical Newcastle fashion, we were the best team in the competition by some distance.

Player wise, I love them all for what they achieved, but during the year I felt particular fondness towards Murphy, Joelinton, Schar and Bruno.

Favourite Match:

Carabao Cup Final

Favourite Goal:

Dan Burns header

Favourite Moment:

Hearing the roar from the top of the Sandman signature as Wor Flags and Complete Cleaning unfurled Eddie Howe down the side of the hotel. Was a surreal moment foe both the group and the club.

Favourite Player:

Bruno Guimaraes

Any other favourite memories:

Trophy Parade

Only watched the first 16 minutes or so. But you can see why we went on that run and why we are struggling a bit in attack now. Isak was unplayable during those few months and defenders just shat themselves. Created so much space for others because of it.

Need to change the way we play and not keep trying to repeat the same style with a totally different player in Woltemade. Same applies to a lesser degree for when Wissa plays, as well.
