Ah. The old N-O special. To try and defend a player they like from perceived air abuse. They dig out another player, using some rhetorical scenario

Osula robbed Barnes of 2 assists in a minute and he’s been fine outside of that. Nowt flash, but who has been tonight?!

Handy round the box and quite clinical but his general play disappoints me. Gordon is just the benchmark for comparison as he's the direct competition for his position (before he went up top). It's not really ' a special'

What sort of serious questions ?

Would you rather be an unhappy human or a happy dog?

That’s my personal favourite when it comes to philosophical debate.

Probably stick with unhappy human, how else can I pretend to be dissatisfied with a nothing performance where a 20 minute period of high football comedy action occurred and we've qualified for the last 16 of the CL.

Howe needs to be asked why he's protecting the kids so much, let em free Eddie lad, Epstein is dead and Prince Andrew doesn't like football.

Not sure what happened for Inter to lose like that but fair play to Bodo. Not taking anything away from them but that result doesn't change the fact that they're clearly one of the lesser sides left in the completion that the likes of City would be delighted about meeting over potentially Real Madrid.

Again, let's see how it goes if they meet. Id love to see them put City out but it's very unlikely, would love to be wrong though.

What happened to Inter is that Bodo twatted them, over two legs in the knockouts.

Is that money list accurate? I remember when we got knocked out last time other clubs got more money than us just for having better coefficient status.

I thought that was the TV money split?

Chance for Osula, Wissa to show something and Wolte to get notching again not taken but no f*cks given, a stroll out and winning with the lions share of five goals.

were through, legs saved and from this, as Kevin Nash says, all that matters is the money and the miles

I mean, it is. Using a player who has been fine and probably a 7/10 for the newspaper ratings. To get a dig in about people who have given Gordon stick?

Strange behaviour. Special indeed

That's just some of the prize money.

We were in the last 16 in 2002/03.

Yeah though back then last 16 was a league phase.  Maybe more accurate to say this is the first time we've been to knockout stage.

I’d be a happy dog. Can lick your own wriggler then do a shit on the pavement without getting arrested.

Popped into the thread in the second half, first post I saw was that we were really unprofessional. Shame, wonder what we could've achieved with some professionalism.

Kinda game I expected really, especially after we added to the aggregate score so early. It was important to carry on the winning feeling and we did. Lovely stuff.

Class that we’re into the last 16.

Bit concerned about the general attitude towards the game though, especially our defensive work. Hopefully Eddie lays into them a bit for it tbh, which is a bizarre thing to write after we’ve won 9-3 in the CL .

He might as well have had his slippers on and pipe in mind.

Thought he was been wrapped in cotton wool this week during training. So surprised we gave him the full 90.

Yes, to your first question.

Only thing he missed is that he was one of the few who could actually be bothered tonight.  Shame he had to get stuck back out at right wing where he's completely ineffective.
