If you were to ask me to name 3 great commentators I wouldn't say Wolstenholme, Motson, you know. I'd say Lockwood, Lowes...Raisbeck.

The Office is shit.

Wonder if their fans will ever stop singing about Alan Shearer

It's been 30 years lads

Probably not. It's just a bit of banter and Shearer is still heavily involved in football and still has pop shots at us whenever he can so it's still relevant.

It does sting mind. I remember after winning the treble thinking, "the only thing that would have made this better is if we had Shearer instead of Sheringham."

I can't think of any instance of any other fans who sing about a player who never played for them 30 years ago

I don't think it's strange tbh. We were rivals at the time and the banter has just continued on through the years. Shearer takes it in good spirit.

We don't sing it unless we're playing you or unless Shearer is at Old Trafford as a pundit.

Got my NUFC top on today at the school gates. I live in Warwickshire so surrounded by plastics. Gotta let them know I own them.

Suns shining. Blue skies. Plastics seething.

Glorious.

Ha fucking ha

Serves the pathetic cunt from Ashington right for being a glory hunting prick

As bad as this is at least they've stuck with their decision

I know people who supported Man United right up into their 20s who now go to NUFC away games, which is definitely worse

That's Melly's Carpets & Beds in Ashington if anyone wants to ring him up and tell him where his flag is

Some local art installation got nicked near where I live a few years ago, had months of fun uploading photoshops to the local Facebook outrage group of places it had been spotted

Googled who invented stepovers in football, and on the stepover wiki page. It's only two paragraphs long and yet features Glenn Roeder

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Step_over

The Roeder shuffle was legendary when I was growing up... he would step out of defense the whole ground and both teams new what was coming but it worked every fucking time! It was one of the first skill you learned back then and provided you did it quick it was almost impossible to defend especially in the middle when you go either way... Ah man loved it [emoji38]

Saw a few of these earlier today. Absolute fucking freaks. Makes Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa seem normal. Showed up on my feed.

Like that fat guy was laughing, and the cunt who ten times in a row called Ramsey a cheat. Made me wanna throw up.

I know a bloke in his 50’s who was a Spurs fan until about 10-15 years ago. He is now a Man City season ticket holder.
