With what we have, what's out injured, Gordon ill before the game, to nevertheless dominate the game and take a deserved lead

1-0 would have been scant enough reward for the efforts but we'd have had a famous victory on the night but to not even have that in the cruelest manner imaginable!?!

Forgot to add - plus swimming uphill against another cuntly ref

From inside the ground....

First 10 or so was our press and pressure, next 10 or so was there possession. After that was very even, they maybe thinking they have less on this with the home leg to come.

I don't feel like we lost, or drew. I feel immensely proud to be a fan of this club and this team played outside their fucking skin. Can't grouse about the pen, we're a bit naive but that's how you learn and grow. Make the mistakes and grow. We're fucking mint.

I genuinely couldn't believe he tried to switch it to the other side to Tonali.

It's so typical of most of the team though. Terrible decision making so often.

And rushing. We are like fucking rabbits on steroids when we have a chance to break... "PLAY IT BEHIND LINE QUICKLY LETS RUN" seems to be what everyone thinks. There was a moment in the first half were easy pass puts Elanga through, but we messed up cause IIRC Barnes tried to play it first time.

Yep. It always felt like the ref was going to cost us, and this time it was the play until the opposition scores variety.

It summed up our season nicely.

I think our time-wasting sub in stoppage time was responsible for adding on those extra few seconds tbf

Think people are well within their rights to express criticism of the late goal and poor game management, whilst also saying that we played really well and loads of our players had excellent games.

That’s not entitlement.

Personally mate, i think that's complete bollocks. We battered them with no captain fantastic and Will Osula up top.  No matter the score the performance was brilliant, just brilliant.

But isn't that it though, it's jump on the mistakes, which i do understand, we've watched a lot this season. But no, not tonight, it was a fantastic performance.

If don't walk away from that not feeling proud, i think whoever that person(s) are, are insane.

 Jesus Christ be happy ONE TIME. Please be happy. The Knicks are losing game after game. Use that and smile. We just took Barcelona to the fucking buzzer.

I rate our chances of working on getting the timing right more often with the final ball over the offside trap next time btw. It’ll be much better with Gordon instead of Osula as well because the movement is smarter and the decision making is a thousand times better.

Players aren’t machines. You can’t expect them to play every 3 days in a high pressing, physical system, run 8-10k every game and give their 100% every time.
