Pochetino for me, after the world cup he has nothing to do for four years, he did a good job eventually at Chelsea, finishing 5th with a carabao cup final and fa cup semi final, getting them back into Europe and having a much higher xg then their league positions lasted. He also gave the kids a good chance at spurs when there (I was living with three spurs fans at the time and was sick of hearing about him lol).

Hes controversial, been on a downward trend managerially for sometimes and plays football which is shit to watch.

If he wants SBR translator for a couple of years nobody would want him at all.

I don’t like him because he was a translator I like him because he won major trophies in every league he’s managed. When he talks tactics he’s unbelievably knowledgeable and understands how to win.

His football isn’t exciting though so I definitely don’t think many would take to that [emoji38]

14 years since his last major trophy. He's a busted flush.

That can’t be true!? Is it [emoji38]

He won the Conference League with Roma a couple of years ago and it was only a few before that he won the Europa League with Man U? Maybe my years are wrong mind

Conference league come on man. And Europa with Manchester united is something they are embarrassed by.

We need a coach who's going to kick on and improve players not a dinosaur.

Howayyy we can’t pick and choose winning comps to back points up! [emoji38]

Although I thought the Europa win was more recent than 2017!

He won the Europa league In 17 yes with a club who have one of the biggest budgets in the world. Is that something we are looking at and saying yes let's get him in? Really?

In the final we beat a team with twice our budget, same as the semi finals over two legs.

But back then they had good teams dropping in from the champions league so it is a good achievement.

Same with emery europa league wins.

I wasn’t saying let’s get him im just more surprised how he sparks so much hate given how successful he is. If we did replace Howe we could do worse.

That year yes but normally the competition isn't as fierce.

Because he hasn't been successful in relative terms for years, and because he plays awful football.

I'm surprised you find it that shocking honestly. Ask people 20 years ago you get a different response

I already put forward my argument that Jose would be the best fit for where we are right now, even the players will be more motivated to stay and new players will be more willing to join us if his name is there. considering how shit we've been this season despite having quality players and a full squad i'm very confident he will do very good job with us.

Just think a once world class manager could still do a great job at the right club.

I do have misgivings about his volatility and his penchant for pissing off players, but I don't think he's turned into a bad manager overnight. I still think he can organise teams defensively, he's just not going to play the most exciting football. Also think he's not suited to the really top clubs, but I think he can still overachieve with a club which is punching above it's weight like he did in the days of Porto.

I want to also add that while Eddie has done an amazing job with the team he inherited, he has done a terrible job with the current squad, there is no way he should be doing this bad with a team that includes:

GK- Two England Internationals who have been called up in the last year

RB/LB: Both current England internationals with at least one a starter

CB: Current German and England Internationals with Botman as back up
MC: Italy's best midfielder - Brazil's Best midfielder and Joelinton and Miley as able back ups

RW: Probably still the weak point but he's got his 55m Swedish international there

LW: Probably England's starting LW/and another England international as a back up
ST: Germany's main or 2nd striker with a 50m signing as a back up.

That is an insane squad on paper but they are currently 14th having lost twice to their newly promoted rivals. i doubt many mangers can do a worse job to be honest.

Stuttgart's manager may get something out of Woltemade if we go that path, but could also be a busted flush ala Hassenhuttl or even a Hurzeler.

Risky.

Are you really putting down our cup run last season [emoji38] we beat the 4 of the top 7 in that run, including the champions. It was harder than most teams runs to any silverware outside of the champions league.

I'm not I was just saying it's the lesser Cup in England.

If how a club perceives is a measure of the trophy though -  and so we're not counting ManU's Europa -  then Roma's Conf League *should* count, because they were very happy with that.

I broadly agree he's past it and should not be a serious consideration though.
