I still don't see it with Elliot Anderson like. The prices being quoted for him are insane.

He’s extremely overrated imo.

Woltemade definitely gets no slack from some on here that are happy enough to see Murphy and Burn offer nothing going forward other than the odd ball into the box

It's not Burn's role to go forward as much as Nick like

We look steady and solid, but once again absolutely bereft of attacking quality, intent or creativity.

I don't believe he'll ever deviate from the Track & Field playbook and the whole "out run them, out jump them" philosophy which when we aren't totally at it makes us look like the most limp, passive, boring side. We're crying out for some footballers who can help impact it - Woltemade looks too lightweight, Hall laughably shoehorned out of position because 34-year old Dan Burn is taller than him and Bruno trying to do it all by himself because he's surrounded by Olympic decathletes who can't pick a pass.

Suppose we'll come out after the break looking worse, like we usually do, and attempt to run and graft our way to a point after inevitably conceding a soft goal.

Is it sunny where you are? Maybe pop out and do a bit of gardening?

He's made one good pass. Not much to get excited about really

Murphy's been anonymous today, would be good to see Gordon/Barnes over there second half and give us some more options and link up play with the Hall experiment while we're doing it

Honestly the poor lad has no chance, seems to be the scapegoat of many of our fans..

Osula is really a perfect Howe striker. I think Howe will stick with him next season too. He's chaos, scores and runs alot. Perfect Howe player.

he isn't the perfect Howe striker at all. He fits the team well but as an actual individual he isn't very good at all.

Poor quality game.

Weight of passing in the final third has been abysmal in parts.

Not seeing much of the dividends from all that training ground time.

Mixed bag. Liked how we started but didn't fashion a meaningful chance until it went end-to-end, which speaks to our inability to craft opportunities with possession football. It's like we need to game to be open sometimes.

Good to see Woltemade involved. Needs to repay the manager's faith now.

That seems a harsh assessment to me. Made some neat runs and his awareness/nous has improved significantly IMO.

Solid enough first half. Hopefully we can start second half better than usual and be progressive with subs when they come.

Got to take rough with the smooth for Wolt at the moment. Some nice touches.

Bruno is Newcastle. No one comes close to how influential he is.

We're defo set up 4-4-1-1/4-4-2. Much better but a lot of it has broken down when it's got to Nick.W, he's having a mare, but the set up is fairly good.

Jesus fucking Christ. Thats a mare? Tell me who else would have made those cutting pass to Osula?

Did you guys really know what a 10 really plays like? If Wolte can pull all those move off despite so little space given in EPL he would be playing for Real Madrid already.

Dont complain if we play like shit after taking Wolte off in second half

Started the game well but they've come back in it, think overall we've shaded it without being great

Osula should be doing better with that chance, ultimately our strikers/wingers not being clinical is an issue, which needs resolving in the summer

That Bakwa at RW looks a threat, I'd take him over the options we have
