I would be embarrassed to be celebrating finishing above Sunderland this season.  The fact it's even a close thing is embarrassing enough and it would look tinpot as fuck if we did finish above them and people made out it was some sort of achievement .

Let's never forgot these cunts were right at the front of the queue of dissenters to Masters when PIF were trying to rescue us from 14 years of Mike Ashley. Rolling over on Sunday and sending them into the bottom 3 with 2 games remaining for them would be pretty poetic.

Just look at that list of cunty clubs. Fucking joke. Absolutely furious that Villa rolled over for them still. Desperate for Spurs to go down, me. I can't forcibly will my team to lose on Sunday, but I'll not be crying my eyes out put it that way

Regardless of how much this means to our season - fuck all in reality - Howe desperately needs another win just to get everyone onside again for next season.

Good point TBF, if we don't win our 2 games it would be 1 win in the 8 fixtures post international break...

I’m against throwing games but given that Villa threw their game against Spurs it feels like the only honourable thing is to even it up and give West Ham the win here

I find it funny that people think we need to throw the game in order to lose.

Just a pick a team and try to win, the defeat will take care of itself.

When Eddie’s latest round of squad roulette has Wissa at right back, Hall as GK and Nick as CB, we’ll be locked in.

The fact that Chelsea are poor and have a cup final only 3 days before (better than being 3 days after, but still not ideal). Very winnable match even if there is a bit if a rivalry. They've also got 8 points from their last 4 games, which is good going for a relegation threatened side, and if they can get 4 from those fixtures, they are more than capable of getting 2 or 3 from the 2 matches they have, in which case West Hsm would need all 6 points to have any chance. 4 points isn't good enough for West Ham if Spurs get only 2 from theirs.

I’m very much not convinced, and neither are Spurs fans in general. We never get anything at Chelsea, and in fact things there generally go incredibly badly in all sorts of ways. We’re also struggling horribly at home.

I think we need you to get at least a draw. I fully expect Leeds to roll over and let West Ham tickle their bellies - funnily enough, more so than yourselves. If you beat West Ham (please) then we only need a point, and if that happens I think we might do that at Chelsea. I don’t think we’re going to win either game.

You saw the problems against Leeds. They’re a solid team in really good form, yet we were the better side for an hour. Not massively so - they were dangerous on the break - but Richarlison should have put them away. RDZ has done a brilliant job but he’s come up against the limiting factor - the remaining fit players. Where Farke can bring on a player in any position he wants to change the game, RDZ is very limited and ended up having to wait at least 25 minutes too long to make a change.

Farke brings on a dynamic attacker and an experienced footballer dangerous on the break in Gnonto and Longstaff. You saw the impact they made. RDZ clearly needed to bring players on who can hold the ball and slow the game down, but he only has one, who’s not played all season. In the 81st minute he brings on a young player still recovering from injury, then he finally gets to play Maddison. Again, you saw the difference he made, but even 20 minutes was considered too long.

Supposedly Richarlison barely trained all week and was clearly running on fumes. He’s not the only one. If we don’t have the game won an hour in then we’re screwed. Leeds should really have won it after that. Look at the West Ham game. They Nuno it for an hour, then when the game opens up they bring on Pablo and then Callum Wilson.

If we can give Maddison some time with a match in the balance we’ve got a chance. I think it’s a coin flip. If you win I’d back us to get the point we need. If you draw I think we need to beat Everton but there’s a chance West Hsm blow it against Leeds. If you lose I think we’re gone.

1-0 Osula in the first 10 minutes then let the natural order of things play out [emoji38]

They didn’t throw it. They were forced to make a couple of changes d/t injury, rested a couple because of the semi but ultimately just played right into RDZ’s hands. We got lucky.

Aye at the back end of 2021, just after our takeover with them stuck in Division 3, if you'd told me we'd go onto invest £750m on new players in the next 4.5 years and at the end of that period they'd finish above us in the league I'd have laughed at you I'll be honest.

Finishing above them is no cause for celebration. I'll probably have a celebratory drink if Spurs go down though.

Would love for Spurs to go down, but if West Ham do at least they can't sell the stadium to themselves to fix their accounting issues.

I don't think Spurs can anymore - loop hole been gone.  I couldn't careless about this result on Sunday be happy either way.

Now that the pipe dream of getting 9th and ending up in Europe is pretty much dead in the water.. fuck it.. I want Spurs down so badly I'm finding it hard to not pull for a West Ham win. Certainly wouldn't be gutted.

I'm close to betting on us to win as a psychological hedge. Strange times.

I'm betting on a shit, tight game. We go one up, look ragged, continue to give the ball away, go in leading at half time, inspirational teamtalk from Eddie, they come out having made changes, we don't react, subs on 60 minutes, concede on roughly 80 minutes and cling on for a 1-1 draw.

Got evens on Bet365 as a Betbuilder.

I think this is a really important for Howe and the players, after the season we have had, in the grand scheme of things yes it doesn't make much difference to our season ending the season with a win here and at Fulham but it would show some improvement in the last 4 games.

Defeat here and next week does raise more questions heading into the summer with 1 win since the International break as it's relagation form.

Spurs will likely beat Chelsea. Chelsea are the worst team in the league currently and have the cup final distraction.

Spurs are a better team on the road than at home as well.

Your record at Man City is spectacularly bad. You last won there over ten years ago, previous to that you last won back in 2000, although obviously both teams have been out of the Premier League at times since then. Still, an awful record.

We have won once at Chelsea in the last 36 years.

Chelsea have improved a bit since Rosenior left like. Better team against Rat FC last week.
