Agreed. Last two wins have really been lipstick on a pig IMO.

Goals change games etc but I've seen too much of this side to believe in my heart that was the reason.

Botman and Callum Wilson going stride for stride. Bruno and Willock having a tiff. All is not well.

If I was a betting man, I reckon Newcastle will be closer to a Spursy season next year than pushing for Europe.

Thank goodness for Will Osula. [emoji38]

Genuinely adore you, but fuck off with this shit

The site wouldn’t let me upload this until well after it happened but took me a second to figure out where I had seen this fella before

Feel sorry for a Lewis Hall after that. In the second half something wasn't right with our left side, he was constantly looking down the line for some support but often left on his own with no outlet whatsoever. Either the manager got it wrong or someone wasn't doing what they'd been asked to do. The frustrating thing was it happened pretty much all second half and we changed nothing.

Thought Big Nick was excellent though

The football was a lot better today. You can really tell the difference when a lot more of the technical players on the pitch. It’s obvious we need to move in that direction if we are going to compete consistently.

Thought Ramsey in particular was a bright spark in CM.

I felt there was a subtle change of direction. A lot of nice one touch passing in the first half, and we let the ball do the work.

Well, I appreciate the first part Gol. [emoji38]

I'll leave you to it and hope I'm wrong again.

Woltemade goal and a glimpse at a new shape that might save next season is better than Spurs going down.

Who was the fully grown male adult that scored at the Gallowgate during the lap of honour and started doing the Shearer?

Could hear St James take a gasp of breath, when it went in (on TV)

You can see everyone clapping in posh seats on TV with one of the angles they used. Was a wonderful goal like.

Les Ferdinand header for Leicester

Happened loads really. Used to be the standard reaction to an exceptional opposition goal.

David Hirst, Anthony Barness, Recoba, Severeyens, Tommy Wright, Sheringham, Ferdinand as mentioned, Agostino - off the top of me head

Lovely afternoon/evening in wor pal's box. Nick the Greek in the next box. Shook his hand but didn't fanboy the bloke.

Pal's are giving up their box so it was quite the farewell.

All good things come to an end ,👍

Some really good moments and goals. Bit of nervy jeopardy for no reason other than it's us.

Shout out to the Gallowgate. Esp the Corner, all season, but in it's entirety for the lap of "dishonour" (wanker)

Tremendous effort 👋👋👋👋

Imagine starting Callum Wilson up top alone and keeping him on for 90 mins in 2026

Absolutely shite

It really beggars belief that anyone could have watched Wilson last season and thought Yes, that's the guy we need to lead our line next season.  He looked completely finished as a footballer by the end of last season and whilst he's scored a handful of goals this season it's absolutely not surprising at all that they've failed to win games with him up front.
