This sort of signing is where they need to improve. Needs to be decided behind the scenes, go in, smash the deal and get him on a plane ASAP before it leaks.

Now everyone's aware, one of the cartel will decide there feeder team needs a new player and snap him up and we will of wasted yet more time and effort on this for nowt.

Must get better at this!

You can't prevent agents leaking it to squeeze every penny they can.

Could argue they wouldn’t be doing theit job very well if they didn’t even. This whole concept of us having to get deals done early and complete them before anyone else finds out is just wishful thinking, at least whilst we’re not the biggest fish in the pond.

Funnily enough I didn't see that much evidence that he could cross that great, or on his finishing. He can definitely turn on a sixpence and is quick over the first few yards. Also seems quite clever with his passing in dangerous areas so there's a player there. From the videos I've seen I like the Eze Abde guy better, but I'm guessing he's got bigger clubs going for him.

There are definitely several very good crosses and finishes, especially the latter, in that video but as usual it doesn't say much, 8 out of 10 of his crosses/finishes might still be shite.

Right, other clubs aren’t discovering that Victor Munoz is available by reading newspaper reports.

Not as versatile, Munoz can play RW and CF so a lot more similar to Gordon in that respect.

Out of the two I prefer Munoz as the price is also good so we can invest in other positions.

Gordon could play RW, trouble was he never actually did

I’m not sure why Kang-in Lee isn’t generating interest from top clubs, it’s been a couple of years since he featured in an important game for PSG, but he’s absolute class. Would raise the level of our team so much. Has everything were missing in the final third. Wages probably too high for us…although 180p.w might do it

Not convinced the first part of this is true mind. At least not very effectively. The large majority of the time he did play there he was pretty bad.

Doesn't absolve him of his refusal to play there, he should have put the team first but he looked very bad there when it was tried.

Tbf he looked shit on the left when he couldn't be arsed n'al.

His motivation would drop even more in a position he didn't want to be in.

Yeah that's fair and the sample size of him playing there is rather small anyway.

I just think him playing on the right was never a viable solution to anything even if he applied himself.

Played there mostly for Everton.

Fair enough, I wasn't aware of that. Whenever I watched him do it here I just assumed he wasn't very effective at doing it.

Because he wasn’t trying fully.

Barnes is even decent at RW just because he tries. Barnes game is more limited and impacted by worse shooting angles.  But actually trying has a huge impact.

Gordon is much less reliant on shooting angles.

He looks like the guy from the movie payback. While were on the subject does anyone else think that Cole Palmer looks and speaks like a medieval pig farmer?
