Jordan
The increase in away fans having smoke bombs/flares. Seen it with Man U, Sunderland, Liverpool and now Everton. They look wank.
toonpete1892
The increase in away fans having smoke bombs/flares. Seen it with Man U, Sunderland, Liverpool and now Everton. They look wank. I have a rant every time our fans do it. I was two rows back from one at Wigan and we couldn't breathe for 10+ mins. All they're doing is increasing the possibility of reduced allocations. LFEE
I think they look good... Wish we had more of them and bullhorns and drums etc... Football is far too sterile in this country...
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Is someone flogging them cheaply on eBay or something? bloke I work with reckons our idiots bought theirs from Metalist fans, hence why the one at Wigan was yellow.
Superior Acuña
I like the smoke, it's just ours that look shit because they're green! The mackems and scousers red one look good I think. There isn't really any colour that would work for us.
toonpete1892
It isn't just the smoke bombs though. At the end of the West Brom away game it sounded like someone set off a banger right in front of the exit (inside the ground). Not sure if it was thrown from somewhere else but it let off a huge bang.
Guest firetotheworks
'AWAY!' when a cross of corner comes in. You may as well shout 'KICK IT!' for every touch if you're going to shout that. Absolutely pointless.

gjohnson
When players let the ball roll out for a throw in for themselves when they could have easily got to it. Slows down play, and invariably (for Newcastle) lose possession

The old lady who sits next to me always shouts "keep it out!" She means well... but that's somewhat obvious.
Village Idiot
When a footballer that's facing health/personal problems is said "to be playing his toughest game". So overused - at least in the Spanish press - I almost puke every time I read it.

Gloomy, but the league win has softened it. The fans took it better than expected, the side was even clapped off the pitch despite the 0-3. Press and pundits got the knives out, though. The flipside of it, is that it might hasten our board to get the people in to stop the slow rot of the past two seasons and reinvigorate the side, but you look at our transfer record and well... it ain't too good.
