AyeDubbleYoo
Great move actually, we need more things like that to annoy Ashley.

TK-421
Guessing the signage needs planning as its illuminated. Wonder if they are going to paint/replace those sh*tty brown doors, which also stand out a mile, now. Haven't seen the column they painted 'in the flesh' yet, but on that 2nd picture (behind SBR), it look like it might be grey to match the cladding above? toontownman
Are they going to paint the front wall ffs. The state of it! A nice summation of our ownership. Shallow gestures that are not followed through.
NEEJ
That front wall.
TK-421
So they've also put up a new turnstile sign, which doesn't match any of the other existing signs all around the ground. So are they doing them all or just that one? Again, just smacks of what it is... a quick, probably cheap fix/tart up, that won't be followed up elsewhere. And that wall might look worse as its is probably soaked after last nights rain. At least the black paint hasn't washed off. Yet.
Guest chopey
I wonder if these refurbs have been demanded by the stadium manager I remember he took some stick around the turn of the year and he was quick to defend himself, so he might just have bullied Charnley into the tart up. AyeDubbleYoo
Just the minimum to make it look like they’re doing something, without really solving any problems. Classic NUFC.

Stifler
'Played. They'll probs just make em submit an application but it's a bit of pain in the arse paperwork. Every little helps. Yeah, they’ll no doubt grant in retrospect, and it does happen quite often. However it is an indication to Charnley and Ashley that the fans will be on top of everything, and where ever we can, we’ll attack. For those saying it might need permission because it’s illuminated, all signs need planning permission, illuminated or not. The sign for the turnstiles will also go down as a 2nd infringement. To be pedantic, it's advertisement consent not planning permission and, whilst you are technically correct that all advertisements need consent, many forms are advertisement are either excluded from the need for consent or granted deemed consent by the Advertisement Regulations. A turnstile sign would be likely to fall within one of those classes of advertisement benefiting from deemed consent, depending on its size and other factors.
