"A replica of the original sign - which graced the ground for more than a century"

Hadn't that sign only been there since the extension? ???

Nope. It's been around for over 100 years, hence the use of the crest we unveiled in 1988.

If I ever become a billionaire and buy Newcastle that's the first thing I do. Don't care about empty seats, that's the most beautiful stadium in the world.

The 2nd stage can never happen because of listed buildings, it was only done as members of that website from outside of the UK kept asking what the capacity would be if it did happen.

But that won't quench the mackems immense thirst for symmetry.

Which is odd given their ground also has two bigger stands (one on the side and one behind the goal) and two smaller just like ours.

They planning on leaving the Sports Direct signs on the East Stand and that horrible painted one on the Gallowgate then?  Just seen they've not been taken down inside.  Only the signs that say 'Arena' have been taken down from the outside so far.

Like everyone said all along, free advertising as oppose to showcasing how the naming rights would work.  :dave:
