Roeder Resigns (paid off tbh) - Official.

Sky Sports "understands" isn't enough for me. Won't let myself believe it until I read it on the official website (keeping fingers crossed).

*Stock market rules: Earliest possible opportunity*.

The media being informed is enough for now. It is only against the rules to do these things in secret and buy shares before telling anyone.

So much for the new scouting system and basically all of Roeders plans. I thought that the person with a book full of contacts etc was SBR and Shepherd was trying to persuade him to join.

I would assume Pearson will take charge of the last game.

Guest optimistic nit

Is Luque's move to PSV confirmed, or maybe Allardyce might fancy looking at him first?

he can have a look at him while he's playing for PSV :)

1month ago i just thought that if we had sacked Roeder i would have been more than sure that Pearson would have got the control of team for the last matches

we would have won and Pearson would have been the next Roeder

please God dont let it happen! :D

I bet Yorkie Geordie feels like a twat.

Yeah Im sure he does but what does that has to do with Roeder, football, Newcastle, Newcastle-Online or anything for that matter?

Roeder resigns as Newcastle boss

Glenn Roeder has resigned as manager of Newcastle United, reports Five Live.

The Magpies have had a torrid time with injuries this season, finishing 13th in the Premiership and failing to shine in the cup competitions.

Newcastle have not scored a league goal at St James' Park in over eight hours of playing time, which is their worst run since 1951.

Roeder and chairman Freddy Shepherd came under fire from fans after their home defeat by Blackburn on Saturday.

More to follow.
