Sir Alex Ferguson

There are moments when you have to hate him, but in an interview like that, I can't do anything else than admire him.

For a rare non-cuntish soundbite claiming no mind games? Still a cunt.

It's a load of crap by the media. Yes, of course he's played some mind games during his career. But not as frequently as the media like to think.

Overrated indeed.

It's mind games essentially if he says something then wins the game, thus whatever he said is somehow a mind game. Or something.

Had to kinda admire his response to being asked what if he didn't win a trophy for 5 years. Yep not going to happen

Even if he loses it's just that someone magically outwitted his mind games. It's never 'he's lost the plot' like it'd be with other managers. This claiming of no mind games is just another form of mind games in his demented old head, anyway. Just playing the 'respect' card. Cunt.

You're a cunt Wormy!

Well, coming from such an unbiased, level-headed poster on such a matter, I suppose I can't refute. :undecided:

Nah, reported.

Love how it comes across as him refusing to play mind games with Mourinho out of respect. It's really only because he knows that Mourinho knows how to unnerve him. Difference between resisting out of respect and not bothering cos you know you'll most likely lose out

He does always come out and look good in an interview shortly after being charged by the FA or being involved in a bust up of some sort. Mind games you see, not over-rated.

I think being a football manager might be the only thing keeping Ferguson alive. There is no brain activity, just the brain stem, imbued with a set of habits and just enough brain activity to keep him breathing. It just so happens that those habits constitute being a really good football manager. He may even be clinically dead.

"I don't think any other player in the world can do that, certainly not (Barcelona's Lionel) Messi."

Bit of a pointless dig at Messi really, fair enough this isn't quite the same as Ronaldo, but still a great goal...and a fucking high jump for a little man

It wasn't a dig at Messi. Ferguson is a huge fan of his. (Messi)
