Ikon
Hell be shoved on Ashleys transfer helicopter with his bags packed soon enough. Helicopter is way too expensive, more likely one of these cause they're available as well. http://www.blacktop.ie/picts/tarmac_machines.jpg
mouldy_uk
Hell be shoved on Ashleys transfer helicopter with his bags packed soon enough. Think Ashley needs to replace the helicopter with a cargo plane to fit all the players leaving!
AyeDubbleYoo
If Enrique does go the fee can be added to the piles of cash which the club has made from outgoing transfers over the last 5 years. £53,050,000 and counting. http://www.transferleague.co.uk/league-tables/2006-2011.html Can we repost this every time people say we should follow Spurs' model of acheiving success without having to spend much? As long as it's together with the club accounts and profit/loss details, yes. You mean the extra cash the players they've spent money on earn them from league position, TV rights, european games etc? I just want all the actual facts so that we can be realistic about how much NUFC should be spending. I don't give a toss about Spurs.

Teasy
Ye it doesnt take into account wages and "agent fees" No it misses obvious transfers off there. For instance Routledge isn't listed as having signed for us, there's no fee for Habib Beye or Abdoulaye Faye (despite both having a fee listed in the sold catagory). If people took a minute to actually look at the site rather then just assuming its a factual source then I doubt it'd be quoted very often. Its numbers also don't even seem to match up accross the site. On the Newcastle United transfer page is says that in the five seasons between 2006-2007 to 2010-2011 we spent £84.7m and sold £116.15. While on the transfer league table page for 2006-2011 it says we spent £63.1m and sold £116.15. So the sold part matches perfectly, but they have what we spent completely wrong on the transfer league table. EDIT: They seem to be including this current transfer window so I had to modify the numbers.

Cronky
why is Liverpool the only club in the running? Surely someone somewhere needs a left back For all we know they could be a number of clubs in for him. It's possible, but they would also need to be clubs that Jose would be keen to join (ie of Liverpool's status or greater). I'm not convinced by the speculation about the likes of Arsenal and Barca, and I can't see an auction happening.

More expensive than people think though, these ones have titanium rims from BBS and Callaway fuel injectors.

AyeDubbleYoo
The title really should be changed until its confirmed. the key word is "Reports", I suppose. True, but other reports suggest a fee hasn't been agreed. We do seem a bit eager to get the negative stuff in the thread titles. Not that it really matters. DJ_NUFC
I hate to see our best players go to that horrible club in their despicable strips with their nasty red-faced Manager responsible in many ways for where we are now. Thanks for breaking up Keegan's dream, thanks for Andreas Anderson and Alessandro Pistone.
