Yeh he did more good things than Bruno or Tonali tbf
-
The brief was always to win the home games and anything from the away games was a bonus This is a bonus and if we do our job and beat Chelsea next week we have a cushion with our goal difference that in two games should be too difficult for Chelsea and Villa to completely overhaul.

It was meant to be 12.30 on Saturday, but they shifted it with Chelsea being in the EC semifinal. -

I know it was good for us and everything but what the hell was Ayari doing sticking his hand out like that. Mental decision. -
He needs a couple of big performances before the season is out. He's front and centre to be hounded out. While Barnes, Tino, Pope, Tonali, Gordon, Murphy, Trippier, Dubravka, Hall, Burn and Willock (the first time) have all shaken it off with a decent run in the team, the constant berating of his defensive work and sighing at any misplaced passes could sap any remaining confidence he does have.
-
They were checking an offside as well. as if anyone being offside would have made any difference at all.

Why did it take so long to clear the penalty decision? Ridiculous. -
We know Bruno and Tonali are good enough for this club. Willock has been struggling for form for two years now and is one of our few non-crucial assets that someone might actually buy. He wasn't the worst today but IMO once again did nothing to prove we should try to keep him.

Nothing more than copium. He's just off it atm

I remember Howe saying when we played Arsenal in the semi second leg he needed to find a way to get the best players in the team. I think this game should adopt that approach, Botman and Gordon in. -
You can tell people who know football and those that don't when they question Eddie after a few bad results .
-
Said it weeks ago now but he's not been fit since before the cup final , he's playing because even a half Isak is better than anything else we could have up front .
-
"Given the high probability of the conditions" Doesn't read like it's linked to European qualification, more likely to be top 10
-
Got really tired of the Guehi saga, but much rather have him than Thiaw.
-
They gave the most clear explanation of the deal I've ever seen but cba to look for it
-
Unsettle him all summer with constant front pages on Marca and other outlets, then sign him on a lesser fee the following year.
-
I'm sure even Juve in their accounts pretty much confirmed it's happening
-
real madrid don't sign that type of players for transfer fees. If they are genuinely interested Perez will be tapping him up for years so he joins on a free when his contract is up.
-
Has it been confirmed any of this Europe nonsense? Hope said it was pretty easy demands.
-
Great pen , Poor performance , looks 100% injured
-
Was it not loan with obligation, and them qualifying for Europe would just mean we get a bigger fee?
-
Nothingness of a performance Just like his contribution this season Underwhelming

After that wobble where Eddie was getting questioned by a lot of people (myself included) he's answered by getting a trophy, and having CL in our hands. I had long given up on CL, in fact it didn't even enter my thoughts for a long time. So, while today is frustrating, (as always against that fucking club), this is still an amazing season and Eddie has done a ridiculously good job with such a thin squad. Desperately hope he's backed in the summer.

yeah.. we took a while to really hit form, probably towards November. it’s turned out to be an amazing season whatever happens. makes you think .. a few additions that hit the ground running and this team could seriously do great things
