Almost $500M to buy Palace. The Saudis got a bargain.

This new Man City season ticket policy where you must attend at least 10 games or get your season ticket taken off you seems a bit mad. Whenever I watch their games there's always loads of empty seats, how the hell has it getting to a situation where you need to have this policy ? Why buy a season ticket and then just not use it.

In other surprising news, Duran is unsettled in Saudi. I'm glad whoever is controlling the coffers at those clubs in the pro league aren't responsible for spending money on our behalf
-
Thought you were talking about Joelinton there. Just the old drink-driving ban rather than crashing though.
- Today

How about when he broke lockdown rules and drunkenly crashed his Range Rover multiple times and avoided any sort of punishment? Funny how that seems to be forgotten about
-
Which is a good thing.

Not sure we’re a club which does loans tbh
-
-
If they’re on loan we wouldn’t be paying the full wages though.
-
They’re on double what Isak is on. The most obvious non-starter imaginable
-
Americans do that with decades, the heathens. ‘90’s music’. Oh, the decade owns music, does it? Lynne Truss would be spinning on her cunt

It’s non-stop. But Australia’s betting problems seem more upfront than the UK’s - the grim spectacle of a pokey room in every fucking bar is a proof of that. Australia’s gambling losses are greater than the UK’s despite having about a third of the population.
-
Should see the fucking state of betting ads in Australia. It's absolutely sickening.

*looks at Man Utd’s signings over the last decade* You sure about that? -
Still can't believe we won a cup, man.

I would take Grealish. Sancho is a definite no.

Feel like that betting advertising ban has been coming in for about 3 years and it's still always "next year" Anyways I kinda agree with that article, never felt comfortable with the amount of betting ads all over sport. Felt like when I was growing up it was completely banned wasn't it? And you couldn't have it on football shirts and other things and then it got lifted and it went into hyperdrive. Can't work out if I object morally or just because the volume of betting companies and ads are so irritatingly shoved in our faces.

Lost me with his weird squad selections already. Add in that the underperforming nations from recent years are starting to look decent again, the heat excuse for a USA world cup, and the fact we get beat when we eventually face someone decent in tournaments anyway and I don't hold much hope for success. Actually might be worse than Southgate if he loses that team togetherness that was cultivated and I wasn't a big fan of him but I could respect that he did bond the group together better than most we've had over the years. He just lacked that ruthlessness and tactical edge when it came to getting over the line.

Nah. Lost any respect after the Almiron comment for me.

Ange has won the a-league, j-league, Asian Cup, Scottish League, all Scottish cups and the Europa League. It’s not a fluke that he has had success wherever he’s been. Hes not a bullshit artist. Yes, the league form for spurs was unacceptable last season. But the injury situation was terrible and the losses affected the players confidence. Maybe the Premier League level is too high for Ange. A third season would have confirmed or debunked that theory. But he’s not a bullshit artist.

Grealish is a good guy tbf

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Postecoglu told to rack off by Spurs

Spurs have the third largest net spend in the league over the past 5 years. They finished 17th. -
Don't believe it - totally wrong characters would ruin the dressing room

He’s fighting a losing battle now, mind. At least beyond the short term. Coming out with similar, rather weird (partially lost in translation) shit as Capello.
