Don't want to tempt fate but It's done as dusted now as far as I am concerned , winning yesterday sealed it. Everton will be awkward but we are a much better team and no way will we throw away champions league on the final day by not beating them .

General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)

This is childish and petty. They are 16th/17th, winning the UEFA cup wouldn't overshadow our season, where we've won a trophy and could potentially have a 2nd place finish. The UEFA cup win is a nice cherry on shit show of a cake. More so for Man U. Palace over City for obvious reasons, you'd expect Newcastle to be able empathise with position.
-
Miley should have had an assist yesterday until Barnes decided to have a first touch like a blacksmith
-
Rather Spurs, Man U could be in real terminal decline without CL money and status. They'd be able to fire their fraudulent manager and potentially get things sorted top down.
-
As much as it pains me to say it, but Man Utd are the preferred option. It’s simply down to how you say, they are PSR resilient. Spurs less so long term. Additionally it maybe a case of their story overshadowing ours, same with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.

He's 19, not everyone is going to be Cesc or even Jude to a lesser extent. It's extremely hard to be ready as a CM at that age. He clearly has talent, needs time to develop. More playing time/loan out (feeder club pls) would help massively.
-
Looks like he does none. Common thought is *some* strength training will help prevent injuries. Will literally give you stronger ligaments and connective tissues etc. but if he thinks it will increase his injury record then it will increase his injury record. There's a sprinter. Who was world class that never did weights. He finally started lifting in his mid 30's... then started getting PBs at a time when he should've started slowing down.... and it was attributed to the weights. Think it's Kim Collins. He hardly hulked up either. Might be PEDs.

It look liked Chelsea tried to target him when he came on and he didn't put a foot wrong. I remember this dude looked horrendous under Capt. Steak Bakes and was one of the first I wanted us to bomb out but he's done well whenever he's been called upon. There'll always be a place in our squad for an experienced, reliable and versatile pro who can stand up and be counted when he's needed the most.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

I think Forest are gone. I can’t see us beating Arsenal, if we do, bonus. I can see Chelsea and Villa winning both their last two games, which means 69 points. Anything different, bonus, especially if it’s Villa. Which means we need 69 points, a win on the last day against Everton to knock Villa out on goal difference. Its what I think will happen. -
He's well off it in Eddie's own regard too though. That's not going to help his development. He has the right team around him though. And a pre-season will do wonders. Hall learnt it quickly. Hall became an Eddie Howe player, Barnes too - by becoming that split second more aggressive in their play.
-
Trying to guess who will be where in what pots depending on sides qualifying domestically / navigating play offs. 8 group games looking like (due to 6 English sides, one will be drawn another): Real Madrid (H), Liverpool (A), Atletico Madrid (A), Atalanta (H), Club Brugge (H), Ajax (A), Napoli (A), Marseille (H) Be a 'group of death' style again for us

Yeah, I hate the idea of either of them getting Champions League next season and the money that comes with it and the ability to rebuild, particularly Manyoo. But, I hope Ange and his arrogance of "I always win something in my 2nd season, Mate" doesn't get to leave with that intact on his CV.

Coventry were the better team Sunderland played them on the break. What the fans overlook is the quality they dont have. I watched the game and failed to see a 30million Ballard a 40million Jobe and 20million Rigg a 30 million Cirkin a 20 million Hume Is it that long since they watched quality every crumb becomes it on the pitch. They are truly a dreadful side and can't see one current prem side dropping a single point against them So what we have left on Wearside is totally delusional overhype that will hit the rocks v Coventry v Sheffield or v Prem 38x next year.... either way they are of amusement Now where's me red and white teatowel I have some sportswashing up to do.

As already mentioned, the volume in the stadium the first 10-15 mins was deafening - I was stood at the top of the Gallowgate & it was like an old school away game at times.
-
Be nice to win and go above them but this is basically a free hit after yesterday.

nil chance, Villa are in. We just have to handle business, all in our hands.

This is it for me. Seems like there always needs to be an extreme opinion one way or the other. Not necessarily on here but with football in general, I’m probably guilty of it in some aspects

He clearly loves being here. I look at him and imagine him being here after retirement, doing podcasts and stuff.
-
He's one of the advantages of having a slightly older squad than most. We bring on seasoned pro's to close out games. You can tell he's a proper character behind the scenes. Good professional, supports the team, trains well, mentally prepared for battle even though he's unlikely to get many minutes. I don't think Chelsea have that type of culture in their club. Lack of leadership in management and above - most of these players have seen out 2-3 managers already. Too young. Too detached from the fans. Lack of leadership in the squad. I look at Krafth and I know "he gets it". It gives me faith that Miley will make the step up because he's surrounded by players that get it.

Roflham Lolspurs - "It's Just Who We Are Mate"

I'm really conflicted about who I want to win the EL final, but I think I'm leaning towards Man Utd. Man Utd in the near/mid term are likely to start challenging for CL places again, they can't carry on being a clown stepping rakes*, eventually they'll hit lucky with a good manager and/or a servicable squad. Whereas denying Spurs CL cash damages their ability to rebuild the squad and become a serious CL rival in the near term more. What would a Europa League trophy mean for Man Utd? Not much in reality, they've won it before and I doubt they consider it one of their greatest achievments. Wheras as the Europa League would free Spurs from their 'serial loser', 'bottlejobs' 'Spursy' reputation to some extent. We all now know what a sheer relief it is to get the trophy drought monkey off your back, but I don't want that for Spurs, the league needs a laughing stock. I really liked Ange at Celtic and I'd be happy for him personally to win the EL, mainly to stick it to the media and his own fans who've been giving it stinking to him, but frankly, their fans don't deserve the joy winning that trophy would bring. Interested to hear your thoughts. One thing that I hope the whole football world can agree on is that neither of these cunts deserve CL football and whichever of these jokers fumbles over the line, it doesn't vindicate their trainwreck of a season nor does it excuse them essentially forfeiting the league since March. *they can, I suppose -
This was Rodri on FIFA when he was 20. Now I'm not using FIFA scouts as some authority, but he obviously wasn't pulling up trees at Miley's age and even older. I think Miley will play a similar role when he fills out too.
