  1. Past hour
  2. I think Wolves @ 7/4 might be a canny bet for tonight, hopefully Bournemouth can do the Man City what they did to us at home.

Levels above Dubravka and undoubtedly a top keeper but he did go through a spell after his injury where he looked a bit dodgy. Looks back on form now but I still don't think he is the same player he was two years ago.
  4. Same. We got hacked two and a half weeks back and I have so much to catch up on. But I can't even contemplate working properly ATM.
  5. I'm in London on Sunday on the piss. So our game better be on Sky. Or I'll be sat watching it on my phone somewhere. City are still going to be involved. So they could put their game on instead of ours, I suppose. I think Forest v Chelsea is nailed on to be one of the games, the same as Liverpool.
  6. How am I meant to concentrate on work this week ffs.

FWIW, his FBRef, which is by no means perfect. Does highlight that in a lot of areas, his numbers and stats are down on last season. Some are fairly similar or a bit better, TBF. I think I screenshotted them on my phone. I'll add them later if I remember. I'm sure this will trigger Kaiz. As he gets disgusted whenever anyone mentions VAR and goal celebrations or FBRef

I just think for some reason he became underrated by us when he was out. He's a top keeper (except for his passing). He's at a different level to Dubravka, miles better.
  9. Just hypothetically, if Man Utd don't make the CL and if they end up signing Delap and if they're willing to take PSR break-even money and if he isn't on an absolute fortune... ....you can tell where I'm going with this... ...Hojlund?

Yep. That one from Martinelli was ridiculous. My heart did get up to about 200BPM at the time, though. I won't lie

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Next season I’d like it to be: Pope New young GK who isn’t allergic to kicking the ball Krul/Forster etc (club HG) A body from the U21 if and when needed

His sweeping up behind the defence has been really good too, allowing us to push higher up
  13. I think CL will allow us to bring the players in to challenge, but actually playing in the CL will make it just out of reach.
  14. You're talking like your midfield doesn't get absolutely run over every single game
  15. I've always liked Garnacho but don't know how he becomes a top player. Doesn't look to have the physical or technical attributes yet - I did think he had a killers mentality or potential to get one.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I do think Krul and Forster are well-settled down south these days, mind, but agree it makes too much sense to not pursue.
  17. I know it's a relatively small thing in the grand scheme of things but given our propensity to have at least four goalkeepers on the books with two of them training cones it makes absolute sense to make one of them club home grown - even if they're actually fourth choice you can name them as the third choice keeper in Europe and means we can name an extra outfield player in the squad. The fact we have a few options (Woodman, Krul and Forster all out of contract - Alnwick down L1 with Cardiff and likely nominal fee) makes it seem even more obvious.
  18. No. Sure there will be at least one youth team player we can have in there who plays u21 games for us.
  19. Casemiro was overweight at the start of the year and given the run around under Ten Hag. That hasn't been the case under Amorim, in Europe or in the league. He's lost weight and been much, much better. You also like making a point of it being a second tier European competition but the truth is you'd give your left nut to win it, and the winners list of that trophy is littered with huge clubs. Mainoo has been injured for large parts of this season, so a bit harsh to criticise him when he's not had a good run in the team. Garnacho also has 11 goals and 10 assists this season as a 20 year old. Mental that opposition fans are happy to criticise that and say it's not good enough. I daresay that's one of the best returns from an under 21 player in world football? It's more than what Gordon has managed this season and your fans were suggesting he's an £80m player when Liverpool were interested? Be consistent. This is surface level knowledge of our club, and well off the mark. You've went after all the wrong players. Had you criticised Hojlund or Dalot you might have been on to something. You're right about Onana at least, and no amount of coaching is going to save him. He is stone fucking useless and has singlehandedly cost us dozens of points in the league and in Europe over the last two seasons.

When someone is stood up the pitch, lying down or walking back when we’re under pressure you can see that easily from 100 metres away and he does it every game.
  21. Im sure they show four live games on the last day - 3 Sky 1 TNT and it’ll be the above 4 - they always show the league winners!

They’re both target practice for training purposes, right? Do we really need both?

Some random stat from march. Although I'd assume it's what he does between the sprints that might annoy people. "A sprint is defined as a player running over 25 km/h because there needs to be an objective measure of what constitutes a sprint. In other words, this is a category that favours players who can get up to speeds over 25 km/h with any regularity."

Schmeichel-esque! Spread himself! Dubs’ form when he was out has definitely raised his game!
  25. At least he cares, that’s huge for Man U really
