Quite like the current badge but it is a little 'busy' for want of a better word. Can totally understand why they would want to either simplify it or change it completely, it's just natural progress over time, things and trends drift in and out. Thing that pissed me off the last time is the shirt didn’t change, so I had the old one with the ‘NUFC’ stylised badge on and the next season the same shirts bore the new crest. I can’t remember anyone complaining although it was obvious the new badge was a homage to the old city crest. There certainly wasn’t any ‘fan consultation’ that’s for sure.
