  1. Past hour
  2. They were the same last summer, it’s just reactionary bollocks. They did a podcast claiming the Suadi's had lost all interest and were going to withdraw their investment after Ashworth moved on, followed by an episode a few days later declaring they were all back in big style after Mitchell was announced. There seems to be an absence of anyone in their roster of presenters, capable of taking a step back and looking at the big picture. I guess it's just the content creator way now, everything is either utter terrible or utterly brilliant, god forbid something might be somewhere in the middle. But I guess that doesn’t work for engagement, so we have to live in made up binary position world, completely devoid of nuance. Needless to say after several weeks of not making it through an episode due to the negativity, I binned off my Patreon subscription
  3. Does their scouting network go beyond France? Isidor is bigged up, but outside him so many of their signings last season was proper shit. It was the existing players and youth that done the job for them. No guarantee that spending bigger sums on players from same pool will change that.
  4. I stopped listening to the tripe because when they don’t have much to say they end up just being massively overly negative, just to fill up a podcast. I made the mistake of signing up to their patreon and it was unbelievably negative, was right after Mandy and Mehrdad left and dumped them so they were cheesed off.
  5. Based on my very limited knowledge, better on the ball than Pope by a significant degree and a better shot stopper.
  6. Ahhh, to be young again, 😕.
  7. Distribution aside, I think Pope is class. Apart from bedding in a long term replacement, what attributes does Trafford have to his game that will elevate the team?
  8. Let's see what another winger can do playing with Trippier/Tino, Bruno & Isak in the 3 positions around him.
  9. When it looked like he was heading to Leeds a Mackem I know was saying if he was any good then Chelsea would have taken him easily due to the multi club model However now he's changed tune and he reckons he's mint Truth probably lies somewhere in the middle

Not every club is going to want to or be able to take a punt on a youngster costing 30m. That this is what the selling club demanded indicates he at least not terrible. Feels like exactly what they should be doing in terms of age and likely ability if they want to give themselves a chance. Thing is though they've sold Bellingham and bought this chap, feels like for like, so really they've probably just stood still which likely won't be enough. Doesn't make him a bad signing though.

Well he's twice as good as Isak so my local makems say

I know absolutely nothing about this bloke they have just signed, is he any good? They seem to be getting really excited over him. The fact that nobody else was in for him apart from Leeds who obviously didn't fancy him for the price quoted suggests not .
  13. If Chelsea beat us to another signing in done, it’s basically nit funny anymore.
  14. I won’t believe Chelsea have bid until Ben Jacobs reports it. Despite the deserved criticism he gets, he’s absolutely spot on for Chelsea transfer news. He’s the first and most reliable to break any news from them.
  15. Today
  16. Said in his daily podcast thing that they're interested and he's on their list, but they aren't actively pushing for a deal at the moment.

They're doing the right things to give themselves a chance, so fair play.
  18. You're making the point here really, it wasn't his new club, he was a Newcastle player who spat his dummy out, and went on loan to a rival with no obligation to buy, and then immediately started acting like he was a full on Man United player and fan. It was a weird way to go on at the time for a player who was probably coming back.
  19. I don't see us getting Simons, there'll be better contracts on offer to him. Pedro feels more realistic to me.

You know what I meant. There odds on survival which are pretty well tied in with their relegation odds are poor value.
