Isak would be the first arsenal player to sign for Liverpool since oxlade chamberlain
-
I have it on good authority the vid will be going back up later today with Isak edited out & replaced with DCL
-
He's 5cm shorter than Salah. What's our cutoff?
-
Cue mass queues at the Anfield club store as thousands return their Isak Liverpool jerseys.
-
He'll probably turn them down hoping Chelsea or Spurs swoop in.

João Pedro - Chelsea Agree Deal With Brighton (Ornstein)

Maybe we have other targets who we could offer 60m for that we feel are better? He could have been the opportunistic option. The last time we bid for him we went and bought Isak days later. -
Arsenal fans on X saying the fella can't sign a player to save his life. He'll fit right in up here.
-
Probably go for Ward next summer once Ayto leaves.
-
Looks like there’s a fairly reasonable chance of Celtic tickets going on sale to members tomorrow. Should be from 10am but you’ll have to be quick as I don’t think they’ll last long.
-
Should put paid to any Isak rumours at least.
-
It's like the mid 00's all over again when they wouldn't sign an obvious goalkeeper.
-
Thought Isco for Betis looked canny against Chelsea, what's the harm in hoying £5m-£10m at them and having him for a season or two as that cultured, defence-unlocker we seem to lack. Squad player who rotate in against teams on the low block.

This isn't Julian Ward? https://archive.ph/VoAp2 - non-paywall version

Basing thappiness on transfer bullshit posted on Twatter by journalistic liars and attention seeking gobshites
-
So in the end we didn’t even offer 55m+5m for Pedro after negotiated for nearly a month, a player that we regarded as a major target this summer The whole thing feels…arrogant to me, our managements attitude I mean.
-
Liverpool in for Ekitike.
-
How about Kubo or that Yeremy Pino?
-
Feyenoord legend and stalwart of the shit-hot 70s Dutch team Rinus Israël has died aged 83. BBC presumably going to Bob Vylan for a comment.

I think the point is it’s obvious that we will only do the deals that we think “worth it”, and both the fees and the salaries are strictly controlled. What this mean is any club who is willing to pay over-the-odd would come up a better offer for the counterparties to take. It doesn’t need to be Chelsea. Spurs Villa or even Forest can beat us.
