I think he’s on about the game In 22/23 and if you think he should’ve been expected to make that save, you need a trip to the optician
-
Aye. Looks like it. Their fans seem to think so and are happy they're doing the shit.

First of all I don’t think it will come to that but let’s say it does hypothetically . If we struggle to go a couple of goals up against Everton quite early on when we have to win, I don’t think I would survive watching us hanging on to a say 1-0 lead where we sit deep and struggle for control and getting out of our own third. It would kill me

I can't help but think about Alisson and Ederson and how their distribution is vital to the intent of those sides. Take Villa even, remember their 2nd goal against us when Martinez played it over our press right into Tielemans, who had acres of space to start the move that ended up with a goal. We end up so often having only one way to play because Pope cannot reliably distribute the ball. He is a fantastic shotstopper but there is a lot more to goalkeeping within the tactical framework we want to use. I think a better ball playing keeper would improve our consistency and ability to dictate play against lesser sides.

Shame, after mostly miserable visits to Woodison over recent years I was looking forward to the blasted place ceasing to exist.

Yeah, but they had something to play for, to get more than 11 points and their better players will be motivated to get moves. Arguably, the relegated teams are more dangerous opponents than Spurs and Man U at the moment. -
(But yes I would like to see them walloped tonight)
-
Now Ashley's gone and we've won a trophy I can honestly hand on heart say I couldn't care less what these lot do now. Anything they achieve is small change on comparison to what we've done this season and will go on to do.
-
So this big goodbye to goodison isn't even a goodbye after all They'll be done for criminal damage taking their seats and ripping the penalty spot up now Why the fuck they just announcing this now
-
Freak results do happen, but that’s what Spurs or Man Utd taking points off Villa or Chelsea would be. Of the games I think Spurs getting a point away at Villa as the most likely as I think Spurs will play a decent side. It’s clutching at straws though. Villa may have had a historically bad record at Old Trafford but honestly I think that is the easiest fixture possible on the final day - whether they win the Europa or not.
-
If Man City avoid a hefty points deduction then football is dead,it just screams of corruption. If they get away with a fine then we should spend as much as we want and accept any fine that comes our way.
-
Did Rice miss the 3 games we beat them in earlier this season?...we'll be reet, Joelinton will sort him right out.
-
Worldie matches like Leicester at home? He made one save that he probably should’ve saved. I understand that it gets highlighted because of the importance but come on. He’s a good goalkeeper no question but he’s not elite.

Don't they have a pretty abysmal record at Old Trafford themselves? -

Yeah, think Forest will lose to West Ham away now.
-
Coventry have more goals in their side, so can easily rattle them in. Just they’re more abject at the back as we saw in first leg so it counter balances things. Think it’ll be a draw, and it’s all on Sheff Utd to ensure there’s more tears at Wembley. Hopefully like a 3-0 at HT jobby, so they start leaving early 2nd half.

Can't see it happening, they're playing the two worst sides outside of the relegated teams who have absolutely nothing to play for and no interest in the league. -
I'm a bit conflicted about it aswell, because while what you are saying was true, I did see the thing of losing control when trying to play it safe vs Chelsea. I think we got pretty scared after their dangerous counters in the first half. We somehow tend to get it over the line in the end anyways, but I'm getting heart attacks in the process of it.

Saw Dawnie in the rosé isle of Waitrose the other day. Quite tidy.
-
When we get linked to likes of Eze, I always see it as more agents using our name to help with negotiations with the player off elsewhere.

Carol and Dawnie pretending to give a f*ck about Zunderland on Look North there....you know as soon as the cameras are off they are slagging them off.

Most of the season our away record was better than our home record, thankfully since Bournemouth & Fulham we've been shit hot at home and we've got the 3rd best home record in the league now. I'm sure before I spat my dummy out and deleted my account I posted we should aim for around 40 points at home and 30 away and we'll get CL and we're not far off that.
