I can't see Bruno or Tonali getting dropped, but equally, I can't see us signing a 60m player for him to sit on the bench. I think his skillet lends itself to getting the best out of the wingers and Isak, in particular, so if one had to make way itd be Big Joe, who'd become a key tactical sub in almost any scenario.

Tbf a completely meaningless friendly between Man Utd and Leeds is pretty much a sell out in a 50k arena in Sweden in July. So aye, shove any two relatively big clubs against each other pretty much anywhere in Europe and it would probably sell quite well. That doesn't mean there's any actual interest in the tournament though, it just means people are desperate to see their team play live.

I would watch our games if I had nowt else to do, same as I do with our friendlies. It's more to do with how much I enjoy watching Howe's Newcastle than anything else really. I would feel quite embarrassed about watching them mind, which I don't feel about watching a friendly, so I guess it's fair to say that it'd be ranked lower than friendlies for me.
