May as well just keep Willock he’s injury prone and doesn’t score as well,, save ourselves 30 million in the process.
-
Aye. Obviously we'd have to see how the window plays out, but the early assumption would have to be he's coming in to replace Willock?
-
His goal record though? Fwiw i think he would be a good squad addition, if he stays fit i think he is the exact type of player Howe loves. As long as his signing didn't impact us getting other more important positions, i would be happy with it.
-
Waugh has mentioned we've discussed him sure but im sure we have discussed 100's of players.
-
His injury record wasn't mentioned.
-
Knight Castle sounds class tbf

Geremi was really shite but did manage to put a few decent crosses on Owen's bonce and did score a couple in his time. Free kick away to Spurs and a goal in a cup tie at SJP, can't remember who against. He also managed to function well enough in the engine room of the KK 4-3-1-2 at the latter end of the 07/08 season.
-
Hey that's great! I'll back the manager on any transfers as he's earned it.
-
For clarity, I completely agree that Premier League players often come at a premium and it is worth looking abroad to see if better value can be sought. At the same time the some fans definitely talk down players like Guehi, Ramsey and Elanga. There was talk the latter may only be worth £35 million, while there were parallel discussions Tino is worth £80 million plus. It's not a new phenomenon, it's been going for years. It's probably just the familiarity of these players and that we become more accustom to their strengths and weaknesses v the more unknown foreign import.
-
Absolutely lifting. Went to Scunthorpe away and I swear half the fans in the crowd would have done a better shift than him.
-
Can you tell me who Anderson would've started ahead of this season and got the game time he needed?
-
I tell you who hasn;t been mentioned who I thought was absolutely shite Geremi Also felt like we'd never get rid of him

Alexander Isak in his own words: "It’s been written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I’m not thinking about the future. I just want to perform for Newcastle..." “There is no reason for me to think about anything else (other than Newcastle). I feel incredibly comfortable at Newcastle. The only focus I have is on playing.” Eddie Howe on Alexander Isak: “We want to keep our strongest players, I’ve said that ever since I’ve been here and sat in this seat. We have to try and keep our best players and bring in more good players to make us even stronger because the ambition of the club and everyone connected with the club is long-term success and that’s the only way to get that."

I've ignored a couple of these kind of posts so as to not start an argument on here. But I'm going to answer this just once and then leave you guys to it, as I'm not interested in any back and forth on this. I love watching and talking football and typically try to do so in good faith on here. Now what will typically happen at some point is I'll share an opinion and someone will respond with a mocking or sneering post in response, with no real tangible rebuttal or reasoned argument. It's no kind of thought out alternative viewpoint where any kind of pleasant discussion can be had. Often times it's clear they haven't even bothered to read what I posted properly. Now personally, I find this incredibly irritating. And so of course I do not hesitate to call them out on it later, when it backfires. And to no surprise they then respond in annoyance with posts like yours, completely forgetting how insufferable they were acting in the first place. I'm sorry, but you can't challenge what someone says in the manner that is often done on here, and then have a meltdown when you're pulled up on it at some point. That is outrageous.

I still think he'll sign for us 😂
-
I thought this last summer tbf. He never seemed bothered
-
On transfer rumours, fuck me the whole of the North East media is doomed. Chronicle, Shields Gazette - absolutely lifting. Gone are the days you used to get the breaking news on the back page.
-
Depends who you count as credible, Ornstein? No, he hasn't linked us. But Douglas, Waugh etc have. Possibly Edwards and Hope too (not 100% sure)
-
Only 2 league goals in 2 seasons and a poor injury record, not sure its snobbery that some are not that keen.
-
Rudoni?
-
Palace signed the next Eze, Romain Esse. Hackney from Boro possibly for depth.
-
No credible source has linked us with him since last summer and he looks to have regressed over the last 12 months.
-
Hamer Sheff Utd.Grafter and can pick a pass,Better than Willock & Longstaff Gone quiet on the winger from Coventry,He's a good player
