  1. Past hour
  2. I know where you're coming from but.... He's clearly not 'shit', he's just playing in an incredibly boring Manchester City side.
  3. The drop off between him and Bruno/Tonali would be huge as well btw. He'd, maybees, do a job at LM but he'd have to change the Man City mindset and put a rocket up his old, arse
  4. Absolutely. My base point has always been Eddie knows best. I just think he's shit 😂
  5. We do need another CM. We suffered when Joe Linton was out end of the season. The drop off from the starting three to Willock and Longstaff is too great.
  6. We need more than 11 players next season. Whether you like him or not if fit he would play a lot of football across the potential 60 games. Surely you think more of Eddie Howe than this though.
  7. I stand with Miggy, fuck Grealish.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Grealish would be class but I think I’d prefer him playing as a 10 rather than out on the left. His age and wages mean it’s a non starter but he would still comfortably be one of our better players, he would be one of those that you don’t realise how good they are until they’re playing for you e.g Trippier.
  9. Apart from the fact we'd have an older player on £200k a week, part funded by us, sat on the bench. When he's not on the bench where's he playing? Who's he replacing? Gordon's above him in the England pecking order and he's not getting a gig in our mid 3 so I ask again, what's the point of him?
  10. Is it wise to offer Wilson a contract regardless of type and take up a squad place from a younger player.
  11. Hard pass on Grealish. Let him join the mackems.
  12. ok then. merely playing devil's advocate!

I really hope we get this done. I can see him in our side in my head already, and what he’d offer as well as the advantages he would give our other players. Could change the whole dynamic. I genuinely think he would be a transformational signing for us, especially when I genuinely believe that he has a couple of levels to go. I can see him getting to those levels rather quickly too. The more I’ve thought about it the more convinced I’ve become.
  14. If we can get him in on a relatively low wage that doesn't prevent us chasing our main targets, then fine. He'd be alright for a year in the squad.
  15. 13 appearances for Chelsea and left at 23 is not quite similar to Grealish who is nearly 30 and has over 200 appearances.
  16. Should have Harald Schumacher'd the little druggie into the Atlantic.
  17. He shouldn’t be punching away, it’s a simple claim, the back pass law didn’t exist in 1986. Maradona is almost a foot shorter than him. It’s dogshit goalkeeping.
  18. Salah hardly moved in his peak years away from Chelsea tbf
  19. What does Howe demand of a right winger that he can't do?
  20. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. He's done a Philips and had lots of money and glory whilst his game's gone to rat shit. See also, but to a lesser extent, the boy Sterling I wouldn't play him instead of Joelinton, Gordon or Barnes on the left of a mid3 or front3 I wouldn't play him instead of Bruno or Tonali as a "playmaker" free role. So what's the point of him?

We also saw how well Howe rotated Isak and Wilson a couple of years back when we finished 4th.
  22. Can you name a similar profile of a player, in their peak years, not getting game time at a top team who has moved on elsewhere to do well?
  23. Today
  24. Grealish on loan is a no-brainer for me - he’s a very good footballer and will be well motivated with the World Cup next year!

    João Pedro

Yep. If we get to UCL QFs minimum, you want Isak starting every European game. He probably can only start 75% of Prem games at best to manage that, and not having a good 2nd striker could be 12 points dropped. That’s difference from UCL qualification and finishing 8th. An outlay in a striker is worth that.
