I'd be happy with Elanga. I think he's more consistent than Barnes. Will probably do more for us over the course of a season. I know they're not playing in the same position, point is that we're kind of happy with the Barnes signing, and we paid around 40m for him. I wonder how much Elanga would cost after this season, though? Didn't we apparently get a 50m bid rejected before this season, which was his best so far?

Fwiw, I think we double down on Howe type players, mainly ones who can press all match. I don’t see us moving to more technical ones.

Lot of people disrespecting Elanga here. He’s one of the best young wingers in the prem ffs. Probably the fastest player in the league, both footed, work-rate for days and good character. We could do a lot worse.

Can't believe they haven't even discussed changing psr to end the encouraging of sales of home grown players. Regardless of the rest of it being a mess it's disgraceful to the fans to see all of 'their own' being shipped off for this reason. The league should be encouraging clubs to play more homegrown players...

PSG for me. Entirely for Enrique. I saw that interview the did about his daughter and his life after it. As a parent myself I can’t imagine that and getting on with life as he has.
