I'm hoping the James Trafford rumours are not with the intetion to bring him in as a starter, rather as a back up for 1, 2 maybe even 3 years. Goalkeeping is a mentality game above all else, and it's why we see goalkeepers getting better with age and seldom do we see a young, early twenties top level goalkeeper. Their progression is very different to that of an outfield player. Trafford having a good season in the Championship at Burnley tells me almost nothing other than that he's a talented goalkeeper; mentality-wise, the step up to the premier league is big, the step up to being the number 1 at Newcastle United is absolutely enormous. I'd be concerned if he was our number 1 at this time.

Think somewhere between £15-20m would be a good fee for us and for Leeds.
-
But he can’t really close down very well, he’s not athletic.
-
Wasn't he linked with Everton in the past?
-
If we qualify for the CL I think we will be signing one or two.
-
I pretty much know already. He'd suit a Moyes team basically. Physical and direct, not too much intricate passing.
-
Don’t think any club should be looking to snap up Dyche tbf. He’s awful.
-
Ipswich's version of this on Saturday was class like
-
Looks like the castore shirt from couple season ago tbh. Just higher quality
-
Monumental stupidity if that happens - he's built that side and clearly they play for him. Norwich didn't buy him anyone of PL standard.
-
Only the 1 year left so maybe lower than that be happy with 10m+ based on this and his lack of game time this season.
-
Someone reporting on our player wanting to stay? Did anyone pay them big money?
-
How much would we get? Reckon 15m is fair.
-
Already repayed massively, but apart from gambling he seems a top top professional.
-
I'm keen to build on what we have. We need more purples.
-
Just do this in b&W, piece o' piss.
-
I’d actually be interested to see how he’d look in the PL when I’m freed from the need to watch him for my own team.
-
I know he doesn't want to leave, but a move to Leeds would probably be the next best thing for a home bird like Longstaff. It's barely two hours up the road. He could commute if he really wanted to stay put here.
-
If we qualify for the CL I am almost certain we keep all our purples. Not only do they want to play in the CL, but they want to play for a team that can do well in the CL. We can go a long way in it.

Chelsea are a difficult team to predict. They haven't played well this season, but they still have around the same points as us. It's a squad full of expensive players, I am always wary of teams like that, because on the day everything can just click and what looks like a win ends up being a draw, or something we don't even want to contemplate. I think we'll win, but it's a dangerous fixture.
-
Depends if they make CL at the end of the day. If they don't, I think it will have been considered an expensive punt.
